We had roomy twin bunk beds in a spotless, compact mini-room with sliding door, perfectly ok for a short stay and more privacy than a back-packer's hostel. You can see the Japanese tea ceremony performed in the lobby most afternoons. A small but adequate sitting area is in the lobby with good wifi. Osaka Castle is about 25 minutes away by walking + Metro. Eateries nearby- try the tiny family run one just before the road junction, all Japanese writing outside but the owner's son speaks some English and is welcoming.. Mom does the cooking, a few feet from the dining area., I gave this budget hotel an 8 due to its limitations, but in terms of value for money it's a 10. .Show More
