We stayed for 3 nights in an executive suite using a suite upgrade award. As a Globalist, I was hoping for a higher floor than the low teens, but I know I can't expect that when using an upgrade award...We stayed for 3 nights in an executive suite using a suite upgrade award. As a Globalist, I was hoping for a higher floor than the low teens, but I know I can't expect that when using an upgrade award for a standard suite. The room was clean and well-appointed. The suite had sliding doors so you could separate the bedroom from the living room. The street noise could get loud with horns and sirens at times, but it was mostly quiet after around 11pm until mid-morning. The hotel is very close to Times Square (which could be a good or bad thing depending on your preferences) and is convenient to most Broadway shows. We called to have breakfast delivered to our room. The other option is to get food from the T-45 Market on the lobby level. The breakfast was good, and we appreciate the Globalist benefit the hotel offered. But if you aren't a Globalist or don't otherwise have it included with your room, I would suggest going elsewhere. You can find cheaper quality options nearby. The front desk was very responsive through their text line both before and during our stay. There were a few snafus during our stay that made it less than perfect, but nothing that ruined our stay. The staff got our breakfast order slightly wrong on two of the three days (we were OK with these mistakes). However, on one of the days, our order didn't get input for some reason, so we ended up waiting over an hour for the food after being given a 30-minute estimate. They did put a rush on the food once I called to ask what happened to the food. The front desk also did not tell housekeeping that I had a late checkout even though I had confirmed a late checkout with the front desk at check-in. Because of that, housekeeping knocked on my door on the last day asking me when I was leaving. Not a huge deal, but housekeeping should have been informed of the late checkout. Overall, the hotel was decent, and it could be a good option if you want to be close to Times Square or Broadway shows.Show More

The front desk staff member, who appeared to be in his 20s/30s of ...I was extremely disappointed with the checkout experience I had at the Hyatt Centric Times Square on October 27, 2025 around 1220pm. The front desk staff member, who appeared to be in his 20s/30s of Hispanic origin with tattoos on his arms, was unprofessional, rude and condescending. When I politely requested clarity on the charges that exceeded our allotted credit, he became defensive and refused to provide itemized receipts or even give us basic information on amount that was charged over the allotted credit. He kept pointing to his screen and repeating that we had gone over our limit without providing any further information. After insisting, he eventually provided the itemized receipt, which showed a minimal amount of $12 over the limit. This was frustrating because for such a small amount I wouldn't have cared to even be shown itemized receipt What was more concerning was this staff member's aggressive tone and refusal to provide his name. When I asked to speak with a manager, Tyler, he also declined to share the staff member's name. The staff member's behavior during my conversation with the manager/Tyler was also unprofessional as he hovered behind the desk and smirked. i couldn't help but notice that two front desk employees on duty at the time had clear name badges, which raises questions about whether this staff member's behavior is habitual. It's concerning to think that he may have treated other customers similarly, and that his lack of a name badge may be a deliberate choice to avoid accountability. The manager, Tyler, did listen to our concerns and apologizd, but I did not get the impression my concerns were being taken seriously. Despite having a good experience during our stay, the checkout experience was disappointing and has deterred us from booking another Hyatt property in the future. I hope the hotel takes necessary steps to address this issue and provide better customer service training to its staff.Show More

We took the bus and train into the city from LaGuardia and were warmly greeting by the front desk staff who offered us a bottle of water and allowed us to check our bags since our room was not ready. ...We took the bus and train into the city from LaGuardia and were warmly greeting by the front desk staff who offered us a bottle of water and allowed us to check our bags since our room was not ready. When our room was ready we received a text alert and were able to check in early and freshen up before a matinee show. The hotel is less than a block off Time Square which made walking to theatres, restaurants, and sites very easy. The room was clean and comfortable, water tea and coffee were complimentary. The shower was hot and offered an overhead showerhead and a handheld and a step for shaving legs. We were on the 24th floor and could still hear sirens/street noise so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The bed was comfortable and in addition to the single serve coffee maker, there was a mini fridge, large closet with iron and ironing board. We took advantge of Bar54 views for an early evening cocktail and small bites (get the fig and cheese flatbread and chicken skewers). I would happily stay here again. The hotel charges a destination fee which provides some discounts to local attractions - Unfortuntely we did not find the "deals/discounts" were similar to what one could find if you searched for other promo codes and discounts online.Show More

The location could not be better and made it simple to walk or get transportation anywhere we needed. It is also an ideal spot for NYE because you are close to the excitement while still having a calm place to return to. Every staff member we met was friendly and genuinely helpful. We used the hotel car service to the airport and highly recommend it. It was more affordable than Uber and much cleaner than the Ubers we used in New York City. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had plenty of room as well. Everything was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The pillows are thinner feather pillows, so guests who prefer more support may want to request extras. The hotel offers luggage storage which made our day so much easier. The shower included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was very convenient. One of our kids forgot their toothbrush and the front desk immediately provided one. The staff went above and beyond for every request. This stay quickly became one of our favorites. The combination of great location, comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service made this hotel an easy choice for future trips. We would absolutely return.Show More
