The location was useful. We were c 7 mins walk from the Sants Barcelona (a main station), 4mins from the T5 that runs into central Barcelona. You could get the train in from the airport I think.... we...The location was useful. We were c 7 mins walk from the Sants Barcelona (a main station), 4mins from the T5 that runs into central Barcelona. You could get the train in from the airport I think.... we took a cab. Dont be put off by the graffitti everywhere, it looks a bit dirty at firs, however behind most of the ugly roller shutters are nice restaurants, shops etc. Tapas bars and an amazing restaurant called La Tere Gastrobar; relatively expensive but great food are 1 min walk away, helpful independent bookshop (daughter studying Spanish) off the square, 5 minutes from a 'proper' supermarket; end of road, turn right, c.1 block up on the other side of the road called Caprabo...easy to miss as it looks small, however like most buildings here it goes back a long way. Apartment clean, excellent kitchen (small but very functional), cooker, grill, oven, coffee maker, nespresso, kettle, fridge and freezer, wash machine, tumble dryer, hairdryer, iron, full kitchen roll! easy to wipe down, 2 dishwasher tablets, cloth, fairy liquid, tea towel..... Felt safe, quiet, black out curtains. There is a lift. Access information was timely and clear, information for use of the cooker etc was easily available in booklet form. The staff was really nice about informing us of the condition of the dryer and provided us with adequate alternatives to solve the issue. The room was clean with an instruction manual to work all the appliances. While it was nice that they provided 2 tiny bottles of body wash and a shampoo, along with one laundry pod, it was inadequate. It would be great if they would provide maybe another bottle of body wash and provide a number of laundry pods that corresponds with the number of guests. Plus, there was no bath floor mat provided so the toilet became very wet and slippery after a shower which was quite dangerous. So we resorted to using the hand towels as a mat to prevent slips. Otherwise, we're really satisfied with the place and would honestly really recommend staying hereShow More
