Rooms are clean, tastefully decorated and feel luxurious. Unfortunately, the heat doesn’t work and my room was permanently at 69 degrees despite my trying to make it warmer. When I checked in, no one said anything to me about the breakfast. The last time I was here, breakfast was free so I assumed that was still the case. It turns out you need a voucher for breakfast and it is additional. However the website boasts a continental breakfast. I was approached after ordering some Oatmeal and asked for my voucher. I explained that I did not have one or know I needed one. It was awkward.At most hotels, when you check in they tell you what you need to know. They told me about the bar but that was it. I guess what is worse is that I ended up paying $19 for a bowl of lukewarm oatmeal. Be sure to ask about the breakfast and steer clear of the world’s most expensive oatmeal.Show More

So many restaurants in NYC we didn’t mind there being no restaurant. The Manager at breakfast was so lovely, loved his cheerfulness. Our room 5O1 with twin beds was lovely, no view but really comfy beds, good linens, robes and slippers but the memory foam pillows were really uncomfortable.. The bar team were great both at the hotel and in the Lantern Bar where the mixologist really knew her stuff - such a cool bar, I’m so glad we went there. The completely wine at 5 was nice and it was fun to chat to other guests.Show More

Turn right and walk to Times Square. The rooms are small but beautifully appointed and quite pleasant. Bathroom amenities were great. Beds were comfortable and our sleep was very quiet. The people at the desk were attentive and friendly. Anthony and Daniel at the desk were particularly gracious and friendly. They were so professional and courteous - made our stay even better. Cameron was right there to help with luggage and/or hail cabs for us. Breakfast is very good with high-quality buffet items and bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches to order - perfect NY breakfast. The breakfast room is also very comfortable as is the bar and special treat - a speakeasy in the rear of the hotel.Show More

Big shout out to the two lovely men up front and Ben, who is a radiant gift of sunlight in human form. The breakfast, while same-y, is beyond delicious. All of the baked goods were made locally, and it shows. I have been to five star hotels that were huge and opulent, but the service (and breakfast, LOL) were sub-par. My partner and I will stay here every time we visit NYC from now on. They were so accommodating when I added on an extra night and gave me a great rate & the same room. Didn't even have to exchange my cards for new ones. Thank you so much, everyone!!! 🖤Show More
