This is the worst stay i've had in a while. I booked here since i wanted to branch out from staying at the marriott everytime i'm in town, but that was a big mistake -- here's the ugly, bad, and good ...This is the worst stay i've had in a while. I booked here since i wanted to branch out from staying at the marriott everytime i'm in town, but that was a big mistake -- here's the ugly, bad, and good Ugly: 1) Smell. Pot + some sort of cleaning fumes that leave a bad taste in your mouth in the hallways 2) Fire alarm went off for 20 minutes at 3AM. Apparently someone was smoking Pot and it triggered it (per fireman). Then the room smelled of pot for another 20 minutes (i'm guessing through the ventilation system) 3) Pool was closed. You'd think they'd pick a better time to do so (maybe in the winter) but yup, being fixed for over a month now. This wasn't obvious when i booked a month in advance thru Concur. Main reason i booked Bad: 1) there isn't free water. or it wasn't clear how to get it. The water bottles in the room say $2 or $5. The water jug in the lobby was gone (probably being refilled) every time i went down there 2) Gym is extremely small and stuffy. Someone took the 40lb (or 45lb) dumbbells, so the heaviest ones weren't even there Good: 1) Christina was helpful, although you could tell that people probably often have issues with the hotel, so she's helpful and polite, but protective against what might be common complaints and dissatisfied customers. Other staff were ok. There was a moment where they are looking down working on things and don't look up at you to answer questions at the front desk. So they're probably understaffed and overworked. 2) i was able to check out after the first night with no other fees (just had to pay the first night) I stayed at the marriott for the remainder of the week. Christina at the front desk was amazing and professional. But Mauro (?) in the bar/restaurant was head of the class! Great service and conversation. And kudos to whomever in the kitchen made the homemade bleu cheese dressing to go with my awesome wings. Our room was so comfortable and large that I believe I could actually live in it. Newly updated and so clean. We must have been upgraded because our room (complete with a full balcony w/ chairs and a side table) faced the marina and was delightful at night with lights across the water. We have been traveling for 45 years and this is one of our favorite hotels ever.Show More

The staff were very rude and unhelpful to him! It took them almost an hour before he was aloud to check in! Also they said, that if the reservation was made through them directly and not through the booking.com, they would have been more helpful! What a bad service!Show More

The hotel was wonderful. It is a small boutique like hotel. It is on the water and near restaurants. I enjoyed myself. I did use the gym and I would go walking outside the hotel for exercise. I did use the gym and I would go walking outside the hotel for exercise. The gym was small but it had what I needed. I always felt safe and comfortable. We did eat at the restaurant on site and the food was good. The front desk staff was very friendly. Christina was so helpful and went above and beyond. A tip for travelers, the valet is $50 per day. We parked across the way at the public lot and it was only $10. I had a nice time and enjoyed my stay.Show More
