It’s a little on the pricey side but the service we received was worth every penny. The hotel is in a great location only blocks away from the Bayou Place which is a great entertainment spot located in downtown Houston.
The hotel was clean, chic, and very modern.
Shout out to the following employees:
Sam who handled our check-in and made sure our bags were put on a cart and ensured when we left, we did not have to wait a long time for our car. Also told us about the upcoming 100-year celebration of the hotel.
Kevin- oh my I could say so many many great things about him. From greeting us upon our arrival even though he was literally off work and, on his way, out of the building. To asking us how we enjoyed our stay (an inside joke), to making sure I received a glass of wine to take to the room. He then continued with a conversation to see how long our stay was, when I told him we were just there for one night he then told me and my husband that he would be the one checking us out on the next day. Well, he did not disappoint. Saw us in the mezzanine and waved at us. Almost didn’t recognize him because this time he had his full suit on. When we checked out there, he was again with a welcoming smile. Upon checking us out, he made sure our stay was everything we expected. He asked questions like how the room was, did you get the bottle of wine I had sent up, even asked if we enjoyed the concert. Then not only did he invite us back but gave us his business card to let us know we could book directly with him. WOW now that’s service. Thanks Kevin.
Daniel- we had just settled into the room when we got a knock on the door and it was Daniel. He delivered the bottle of sparkling wine to us with two wine glasses. He could have easily just sat the wine down but instead opened the bottle poured each glass and handed them to us. He then said if we needed anything during our stay to not hesitate to reach out to him. Well after the concert we were a bit famished, so my husband ordered room service. I was hungry but did not want to order more food. I have a very small stomach so can only eat small amounts. I still had leftover pizza. So, when Daniel delivered my husband food and asked if we need anything else I told him about my leftover food, and how I wish the hotel had microwaved that could be delivered to the room or at least communal microwaves on maybe like two of the floors located where the vending machines are. He very kindly encouraged me to give him my food, and he would heat it up. He even offered to heat it up and move my key lime pie into another box. Haha yes, I had put both items in the same container in order to fit them into the small fridge they had filled with other items. The next thing that happened blew me away. When Daniel brought my food back, he did not have it in a to go container, he had put it on a dinner plate with the steel covering and brought me up silverware and a cloth napkin and had put my leftover pie in a new container. WOW and WOW!!! Thanks Daniel.
I am posting pics of the hotel lobby with beautiful decorations, the room with a great view, the wine, the nice robe and slippers, and Kevin and Daniel (sorry did not get a front shot). Our stay was made spectacular because of Lancaster Hotel. We will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel.Show More
