Right at the corner of 31st and Broadway, it's a quick walk to the main sights nearby (e.g., Macy's, Times Square), the MTA, and Penn Station. Hard to do any better for your money. The rooms are clean, modern, cozy, and up-to-date. Yes, they're pretty small, but you are in Manhattan after all! It's hard to do any better than this, and the rooms are fairly quiet for when it's time to sleep. Complimentary coffees in the morning and a hotel restaurant for breakfast if that's of interest to you (but you should really walk a few blocks over for bagels). And also the staff -- incredibly courteous. Friendly, hospitable, hustlers, and there to "get it done" in the best of New York City. Chris was working reception when we checked in, and he was a friendly face that even offered us a complimentary upgrade so we could check in early.Show More

Es la segunda ocasión que he elegido este hotel y no me arrepiento. A dos calles de tres líneas de metro diferentes, cerca de la zona de teatros, sin estar en el relajo. Muchos restaurantes cerca, pues es koreatown actualmente, entre la quinta avenida y Brodway, sobre la calle 31. Pedimos el cuarto de 21n2, aunque la vez anterior estuve en el pequeño. El baño esamolio y tiene suficiente agua caliente. Ahora hay un bar muy ameno en la PB y un restaurante de comida mediterránea, con muy buen ambiente. Perfecto para una semana en NY e ir al US Open.Show More

The hotel is perfectly located--a super easy walk from Penn Station and right around the corner from Fifth Avenue. It was so nice to be greeted by smiling faces on returning to the hotel each day. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was wonderful. I do want to shout out the gentleman assisting at the front--I'm so sorry I am blanking on his name, which I feel terrible about. He is top notch and so friendly and helpful. I so appreciated his remembering me from my first visit. This level of service and friendliness are really extraordinary. Don't sleep on Life Hotel. Sleep in it!Show More
