Our Corner King Junior Suite (high hloor) was spacious and offered wonderful views. Had we booked the room without breakfast, our stay might have been perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by unexpected after-stay charges and the hotel’s unwillingness to resolve the issue. It’s disappointing, especially since we were returning to NYC and had considered staying at M Social again, but after this, definitely not. It’s not about the money, but about management, principle, and how guests are treated. - Staff experience was poor. Although we were the only guests at reception, check-in felt rushed, just taking a deposit and handing over the keys. Check-out was similar, with guests simply dropping keys into a basket. Any additional question, even something simple like asking where breakfast was served, made us feel as if we were inconveniencing them. - The “breakfast included” option should be reconsidered. In reality, it’s just a credit for the lobby restaurant with a limited selection, served in paper and plastic containers. Worst of all, after departure our card was charged for the restaurant bills that should have been covered under the breakfast-included booking. This completely ruined what could have been a pleasant stay. - The TV setup was also disappointing. Although it’s a modern flat smart TV, the restrictive hotel mode makes it practically useless - no streaming apps, no Chromecast or phone mirroring, no channel guide, just a basic channel list with very slow channel switching.Show More

The hotel is just steps away from the Oculus, World Trade Center Memorial, Battery Park, and the start of the Brooklyn Bridge, so getting around was super easy. The area felt safe even at night, which made evening walks really enjoyable. The room itself was modern, clean, and surprisingly quiet for NYC. The bed was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the big windows gave a nice city view. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. The lobby and overall design have a stylish, fresh vibe. I also liked how close the hotel is to multiple subway lines, restaurants, and cafés — everything was convenient and walkable.Show More

The hotel was very easy to find from the subway as it is located closely to World Trade centre and Fulton st - travelling from JFK was very easy! The location itself is fantastic lively but not overwhelming like other parts of New York, we felt totally SAFE at all times! Century 21 is right beside the hotel as well as numerous bagel spots (Liberty Bagel and Leon’s bagels) - there’s also a lovely restaurant Nonnas Dora’s a 10 minute walk directly uptown from the hotel. The room was simply perfect, great size, amazing view and very very clean - we had a city view room and it didn’t disappoint! The bar and restaurant is also very nice downstairs! I would recommend everything about this hotel and I cannot wait to stay again.Show More
