Von Unfreundlichkeit der Barfrau, dreckigen Bartischen, über Unfähigkeit des Rezeptionisten bis hin zum Nichteinhalten einer schriftlichen Zusage der Hotelmanagerin, einen Teil der Kosten zurück zu erstatten, hatten wir alles erlebt. Auf eine Bitte an den Rezeptionisten mir doch bitte einen Schuhlöffel aufs Zimmer zu legen, war er sehr überrascht, jedoch versprach er mir dieses zu erledigen. Nichts geschah. Eine Barfrau, welche weder Bitte noch Danke sagte und deshalb auch kein Trinkgeld erhielt. Bei Abreise wurden wir routinemäßig gefragt ob alles in Ordnung war. Dies verneinten wir uns so wurde uns die Hotelmanagerin vorgestellt. Sie war überrascht, als wir ihr die Bilder von Dreck und Zustand des Zimmers und den Fluren sah. Sie bot uns einen Preisnachlaß an und nach kurzem Überlegen nahmen wir diesen an. Es handelt sich um 400 USD, welche sie uns auch schriftlich zusagte. (siehe Bild anbei). Zuhause angekommen warteten wir auf den Eingang des Geldes. Nach 2 Wochen erinnerten wir die Hotelmanagerin daran per email. Nichts geschah. Auch keinerlei Reaktion auf meine email. Eine von uns angesetzte Frist verstrich ebenfalls ohne jegliche Reaktion. Deshalb veröffentliche ich hiermit meine Erfahrung nebst den von mir gemachten Bildern. Das MICHELANGELO ist vorsichtig ausgedrückt, ein Dreckloch. Wir zahlten 400 USD / Nacht bei 8 Nächte Aufenthalt und das Hotel rühmt sich mit 4 Sternen. Beigefügte Bilder sprechen für sich. Ausdrücklich empfehle ich dieses Hotel NICHT !Show More

The location is excellent in mid town Manhattan. Close to so many must do's in NYC. A block from Radio City, Rockefeller Centre , Times Square etc. Quite an old hotel and dated but we loved it.
