I checked in at 11pm, all good. I go to my floor, the 11th, amd as soon as the elevator door opens, the heat hit me. It felt like walking in the Grand Canyon in August. I got in my room, which read 76 degrees, I still didn't care. I changed, set the thermostat at 68 and left the room for a night cap, assuming the room will be nice and cool by the time I come back.
When I came back, around 2:30am, mind you, it is impossible to sleep or get comfortable in a space hotter than 70. This felt like 95 degrees.
I called front desk and her response was "ot is stated mandate. Sorry sir but it's the law.
I took the elevator down to speak to somebody who can maybe try and just hear my concern and even pretend that they care but nobody! The front desk of premier was empty, with no employees, and the property next door had 1 uninterested employee. After she rolled her eyes at my issue and brought her manager to help.
The manager, with zero hospitality and no human sympathy or consideration, looked me dead in the eye and basically told me, I understand but there is nothing I can do for you.
I asked her to please come up stairs and see for her self. I won't be able to sleep in these conditions and I even told her that the lobby would be a better option for me than the room. "You're welcome to sleep there " was her answer!!!!!!!
After telling her several times how seriously inconvenient was this for me and I'm truly not capable of sleeping in these conditions, she said the only thing she can do, is send an engineer and told me that they were sold out, like I was asking for a free upgrade. I WAS NOT ASKING FOR A HANDOUT, I PAID CLOSE TO A $1000 FOR 2 NIGHTS AND I ASKED FOR A COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE FOR ME TO SLEEP IN.
I never ever write a review, but this is my birthday celebration with my girlfriend who bought me 2500$ ufc tickets for me and her, and I paid 1000$ on 2 night in a not caring hotel and I'm planning on shopping and eating well. So long story short, I wanna be comfortable and spoken to nicely.
It's almost 95°f in the hallway and about 80°f inside the room.
The engineer came and pretty much looked at me like a dumb ass and told me there is nothing he can do about and here I am at 4am writing this review and looking for another hotel to book and be comfortable in.
What bothers me the most, is that I stayed at this property (not the premium but the broadway one) 3 times already, so it's really frustrating.Show More
