I tried to shower after a long day and I came out feeling grosser than when I went in. The carpet is matted and sticky. the fake leather beds and wallapper are peeling, everyhting is nasty. We checked in at 6 after an entire day working. our bags were at a friends apartment. we came to the hotel went into the room, saw how gross it was and decided we would check out the next morning. Left and went to the mexican place opposite for drinks and to wait on our friend. She came, we took in our bags and went for dinner. Came back at about 10, which is when i decided to shower ect. tried to settle in and just get through the night but every second just got more and more intolerable. At 11 we called it quits and went downstairs to ask for a refund because we decided to leave. They said we couldnt for the first night we would have to contact bookings but they will cancel our second night. so we sat in the lobby looking up hotels that we could move to for a while and trying to figure it out - the lobby was gross too but didnt smell as bad as the room I suppose becuase the door was open. During that time the front desk managers changed shifts - I confirmed with the new guy as we were leaving that we would be refunded our second night and he said yes we are all good. I should have asked for the reciept but honestly we were so tired it was 11:30 now and we were mostly focused on getting another place - I didnt even book online because I was afraid of the same gross room scenario. So we went to the igh voco and spent an hour there trying to get a room - there was great for a only slighter higher price. Anyway- noone checked us out - still havent been refunded for anything - lost all trust in bookings because this place had decent reviews it doesnt deserve. Nastiest hell hole I ever encountered. AND I WANT MY MONEY BACKShow More
