Fantastic hospitality and service we received during our stay, as well as the hotel's excellent location. Everything from check-in to the overall vibe of the property was smooth and welcoming, which we truly appreciated.

7/10 Quirky, compact, good for a night.
This is a modern design, compact room hotel. I’d class it as a ‘party’ hotel. Loud music in the reception and dark corridors.
The rooms are compact and quirky and are designed for this - table and chairs hang from pegs and there is a drop down table on the wall.
We had a king size room but it felt far too small - our bed was up against the window wall with no room at the edge or bottom of the bed to walk around so one of us had to climb over the other to get to the loo in the night.
We only stayed a night and I wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer. There was nowhere to put our large suitcases and we [me] ended up getting quite frustrated having to open and close and move the suitcase to get items out, whilst squeezing past each other to get to the toilet/shower; the sink was in the room rather than in the bathroom.
However the bed was comfy. The noise level from in and outside the hotel was pretty quiet for NY and the location was a good- couple of blocks from Times Square.
There is a roof bar with the a view of the Empire State - and one of the reasons why I booked the hotel - but it actually isn’t part of the hotel, which I didn’t realise. It’s also, again, a party bar rather than somewhere to sit and enjoy the view.
I would class it more of an upscale hostelry rather than one for older gens who want a bit of space and luxury.

10/10 Fantastic stay at a comfortable and trendy, centrally located hotel!
This was our second stay in this awesome hotel. Love the overall aesthetic, comfortable rooms, amazing shower, multiple bar choices, and friendly staff. How the elevators operate is actually really cool, but they could be a bit quicker. We often had to wait quite a while to get on, but it was no big deal. The only thing that was disappointing was our dinner at Legasea. The food was very mediocre and the restaurant was very loud. I am not including this in my overall rating of the hotel because I know it is separate from the hotel itself, but just wanted to mention it. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at the Moxy Times Square, and we’ll definitely stay again in the future!

6/10 Great location, weird & noisy rooms
Great location in midtown especially for Penn station. The rooms are very stylish and smart, and the hotel has a nice vibe. Lovely big showers.

Everything’s was great! The hotel is super modern, the staff was always helpful and friendly.
The room was not big but it is enough for 2 persons and the bed was really comfortable.
There was a small buffet with muffins, fruit and water during breakfast and they give us 30$ per day from the destination fee to use in the caffe near the hotel for breakfast.
I was afraid after reading some reviews of this hotel but in fact it exceeded our expectations, definitely my recomendation for NYC.

9/10 Providing an excellent environment for a special holiday
This was a special sweet 16th birthday trip for my daughter and the MOXY NYC did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived all the staff greeted Grace with happy 16th birthday! They had our room decorated with compliments and had treats layed out for her! I’m only giving it a 9 out of 10 as our TV acted up almost every time we switched it on, apart from that this place is fantastic, MJ at check in is just so so helpful and could not do enough for our stay to be fantastic. I’ll definitely be back!

9/10 Location could not be beat!
The location was fantastic! We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do. The hotel has a fun and funky vibe, and the check in on arrival was swift, and friendly! The complimentary drinks on arrival are a nice touch. Our only complaint was the lack of a fan for the bathroom so that when the shower was used it left the room humid and smelling of moisture. The room was small for three adults to spend any real time in it, but was perfect resting place for the night and to refresh between activities.

4/10 Had bedbugs everything else was alright
The included breakfast is just a grab and go with cereal bars, little fruit and some beverage options. We got 30$ per night per room to use at the café next door or on the second floor, but everything was expensive.
Lastly we got bedbugs here. Cleaning is every other day, what is fine and was proper made, but not fine were the bedbugs.
The rooftop bar is next door and not enterable through the hotel but the exit is.

7/10 Stay was good: cleanliness, location and bar services. Breakfast is just a grab and go though.
The location was very good - walking distance from food places and stores. The rooms can be a bit loud at night because of its location but all in all it's a good compromise for how central it is.

We liked the facilities and the room, however there was an issue with the payment upon our arrival as we weren’t informed that contactless card payments were not accepted. We travelled internationally and there was no flexibility with the payment method (cash and bank transfers were also not accepted) from the hotel. These should be clearly noted upon booking. Also a security deposit was asked which was also not mentioned in booking.com.

8/10 Noisy city great hotel.
The only complaint I have is that the hotel is noisy at night. Bring ear plugs!
But I’m not sure that’s the hotel‘s fault or if it’s just the city in general! If not for that, this would be a five star. The highlight of our hotel stay was the staff! They’re 10/10. And, especially GIOVANNY. What an awesome individual! Great personality, and put a smile on our faces every time we encountered him in the lobby!

Had an excellent experience thanks to Oliver at Moxy Times Square. From check-in to check-out, he was friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful. He went out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly and brought a great energy to the space. It's rare to find someone who blends professionalism with such a warm, welcoming attitude. 10/10 Meeting Giovanni
"OMG! Giovanni took such great care of me while I was in town on business. This was my first time staying at the MOXY, and I’ll admit—it took a little adjusting. But once Giovanni showed up, everything changed. His hospitality game is seriously on point! He made the experience feel personal, fun, and super welcoming. Definitely a standout stay thanks to him

10/10 Good location, nice staff, comfy and functional room.
Very central location. Easy to get to anywhere in Manhattan. Nice bar on the second floor and restaurant was very nice. Room was good and had everything 3 people needed (even if a bit tight). Staff were helpful and accommodating. There is free luggage storage for people arriving early/ leaving the city late.

8/10 All we expected for a quick visit to see some shows on Broadway.
Great hotel in a perfect location. Our stay was pleasant with one hiccup, super loud music on Friday until late and even though we were 12 floors away from the bar we could hear it like we were there. Other than that just a great hotel to stay right in Midtown Manhattan.

We loved everything here.
At the weekend it is loud from the rooftop bar. But it’s says it in the descriptions!
So live with it or take another hotel.
Location is awesome, staff is the nicest and most loving people we ever meet.
Nothing is impossible everybody wants the best for you.

10/10 Great atmosphere and amazing time in NYC
It was a great stay! Everyone was extremely kind and helpful and especially Giovanni! Please talk to him when you get there, he has tons of suggestions for you and is super helpful! The Dj set was what you would expect of NYC and the rooftop is a must see!

6/10 Overall a nice stay. The venue is beautiful.
My main issue was that the hotel was very loud. There was music playing until about 2am, which I could really hear from my room and was not great in terms of sleep.
