The building might look nice from exterior and rooms can have some luxury features but the ...This is not a well run 5 star hotel-very unfriendly and quite rude service especially from the front office. The building might look nice from exterior and rooms can have some luxury features but the strange, cold interior is complemented by the attitude of their staff. You go to a 5 star for service standards and convenience not to have the attitude of such a place. Its my first time experiencing:- -they don't know the check in guests even for their suite rooms, check in is a long frustrating process. Javier forgot to give the guest the key and rather than apologise and approach the guest he rudely gestured for the guest to come to him. Rude. Front desk agent Nicolo was not much better. -They approached us unnecessarily thrice. Knocked on the door for "evening service" but couldn't offer you anything, then another knock because they got the wrong room. Approached us in car park when we were moving a few things and asked if were checking out etc. If we paid the full room charge and a deposit why would you disturb a client until check out? Do we need to explain our movements to rude unhelpful staff? -As other reviews mentioned, a strange interior style of black walls, black paintings and some blasphemous paintings in rooms. -Front desk doesn't welcome you with a smile or even a simple Hello at check in. Many staff simply ignore and walk past you even in the early morning. Very strange. They are amateurs in what they do and have no care or concern for their customers, I was never so happy to leave a hotel let alone a 5 star property like when i left palazzo montemartini.. Spent the stay angry and frustrated. Will actively avoid Radisson group hotels in future due to this experience. Our VIP guests stayed at Anantara and loved it, it is much more expensive but that is real luxury. I'd even prefer the premier best western down the road than this amateur place. Italian hospitality at its worst.Show More

The lovely hotel upgraded us to a Junior Suite (room 215) ..... we loved the hotel but two issues ... We paid 650 ++ EUROs for the two nights - However there is no sound proofing and the street noise ...The lovely hotel upgraded us to a Junior Suite (room 215) ..... we loved the hotel but two issues ... We paid 650 ++ EUROs for the two nights - However there is no sound proofing and the street noise was horrendous ... If it was not the traffic, it was people exiting restuarants across the road, or garbage trucks throughout the night..... All fine if the rooms had any sound proofing - we were constantly awoken but very loud noises throughout the both nights.... Isssue two : was there was two very small 250ml water bottles in room on arrival and on our second day we asked for more - and were told first night is free and after that it is 7.50 euros for each small bottle.... We went to the convienence store outside and brought two one litre bottles for 4 euros and the man at the convienence was laughing - you are staying at the hotel - right.... we get guests all day coming for water.... It is just madness as the hotel delivered special amentity chocalates one day and a beautiful pastry - but no water.... Here is my suggestion , replace Chocalates and Pasties with 2 additional bottles of water.... It is just petty and not what you expect from a hotel of this standard......Show More
