My first time staying at a posh-looking hotel. I got the king bed and bathtub room. Very nice modern and clean room. Nice views. Love the electric blind and curtain open/close buttons. Love the electric blind and curtain open/close buttons. I never got to use the gym or pool but they have them and the pool room looked quite good. I think they may have parties here? Friday night on my last day the music bass was booming from the 3rd floor up to my room around past 1am. That would probably be my 1 complaint was the music bass reverberation thumping up to my room on the 12th floor--but I wear noise cancelling earbuds to sleep anyway. Oh, and it was a little weird that the hotel entrance was actually in the back alley, but I got used to it and it was a clean alleyway. Next time I should try renting the electric bike or scooter. Their rates are pretty good compared to other bike rental shops in the area, and you get a discount if you're a guest at the hotel. I would book here again, but may try another hotel next time just to compare. Thanks.Show More

Ive left after a 5 night staying feeling meh...for an expensive "luxury" hotel its completely soulless. There are some good aspects to be sure..rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Having no fresh air at all makes for a poor night sleep and drapes that can only be fully open or shut dont allow you to sit and look out of the windows without the whole room on display. The gym is good and the flex room would be great if the lululemon mirror training system didn't freeze every few minutes. I had hoped to swim lots but the very strange pool ( in the nightclub) is tiny, shallow and no real use for laps . What i missed most were friendly greetings ( or indeed any) from staff and a place to be able to sit with a coffee smd chill. The karma Lounge is loud, busy and a place to see and be seen not a place to relax.Show More

I have been enjoying the hotel but one time I got assigned in noisy room a year ago then really disappointed. I stopped going here but wanted to give a shot one more time this month. I am glad that I give the 2nd chance! Staffs were helpful and kind like always has been, room service was great and they somehow maintain recurring customers' profile what we prefer. Not many of 4 star hotels do that anymore. Often I am treated as of stranger for recurring visits even at 5 star hotels. It was such a pleasant visit, and of course amenities and facilities are modern, clean and new (relatively). I cannot find a hotel like this in Vancouver for this price.Show More

Wow, stayed in some hotels but this was a pleasure, front desk guy,I think his name was Shakram, was so lovely, we arrived on my birthday and they had upgraded us to a better room,the bed was amazing ...Wow, stayed in some hotels but this was a pleasure, front desk guy,I think his name was Shakram, was so lovely, we arrived on my birthday and they had upgraded us to a better room,the bed was amazing and had a fridge large TV and beautiful shower, the breakfast in the morning was lovely and the asian girl serving would go out of her way to help,cant remember her name,everyone in Canada is so helpful, the hotel is about a 6/7 minute walk to the harbour where harbour air do excursions, we went to Victoria on vancouver island, The concierge managed to,at short notice, get us a table at Joe Fortes a few blocks away, nothing was too much trouble at the paradox, thank you Neil & JanetShow More
