We recently stayed at the Park Lane Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with its location and views. Being right across from Central Park, the proximity to the park itself is a huge plus, and you can easily enjoy a morning walk or catch a beautiful sunset, or watch the sun bounce off the building from your room. (city view).
The hotel offers a classic New York experience, with the luxurious, modern updates that make it feel fresh while maintaining its historic charm. The room we stayed (4108) was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the quietness of the space. The bathroom was also well-equipped, though, like some other reviews mentioned it is quite small.
The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and attentive from check-in to checkout. We also enjoyed spending some time at the rooftop lounge, which offered stunning views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline a great spot for a cocktail.
Housekeeping, Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciated how comfortable and welcoming our room felt throughout our stay. The little touches, like fresh towels and the tidiness of the space, made such a difference and added to our overall positive experience.
Overall, the Park Lane Hotel offers a quintessential New York experience, and we would recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional views of Central Park and great value for money.
We also wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the wonderful experience we had, due to the LHR fire we had to extend our stay and change our flight’s it was super simple Adriaua & Diana at the front desk assisted with this, we did not have to move rooms, and the rates were kept the same as our original booking, also a complimentary late check out which was highly appreciated.
An additional thank you to Shantigua at concierge, for your incredible support during my medical emergency during our stay.

5/10 While the view was great, the service and overall experience didn’t meet expectations price wise .
The best part of our stay was definitely the view—it was beautiful and one of the highlights of our experience.

Amazed, the owner has paid 640,000 and has not fixed elevator system, it took 30 minutes to come down from the 14th floor. Only three elevators were working out of the six elevators in building. This problem has with the elevators has been a problem for at least nineteen years according to an employee. Very disappointed

1/10 Yucky brown water with particulates in the bathroom
We had booked a room for a four night stay. We had to shorten our stay when we noticed dark brown water on the second morning.
I have lived in hundreds of hotels in over 50 countries and I have never experienced anything like this.

Everything was wonderful!!! We stayed for five nights, six full days!!!! Because of the cold weather we thought the park view room would make the difference!!! And it did!!!! Spectacular view, excellent location, very warm and helpful staff!!!!

The location is the best in NYC. The rooms could use more light. The housekeeping staff were always available and great. I think the front staff could be more warm to guests. The price is little high for the amenities offered.
