Great hotel situated a 10-minute walk from Penn Station so an easy transit from JFK using the LiRR and a walk to the hotel. The hotel is set off the hustle and bustle of 8th Avenue, and a pretty quie...Great hotel situated a 10-minute walk from Penn Station so an easy transit from JFK using the LiRR and a walk to the hotel. The hotel is set off the hustle and bustle of 8th Avenue, and a pretty quiet road, nice secure access to the hotel at night with the use of your entry card which is needed to use the lift as well. The room I shared with my son had to large double beds with good storage no wardrobes but good hanging space and storage under the beds as well... The room size is good by New York standards and has a large TV, a mini fridge with items for sale stocked in it, plus a safe in a cupboard between the beds, the bathroom was a good size and a really good quality shower and toiletries supplied. The room was cleaned daily and towels restocked as necessary. Downstairs for breakfast there's access to complimentary bagels (Sweet and savoury) some mini croissants occasionally, and 24hr access to hot drinks from a machine which was appreciated on returning in the evening when it was cold to take a hot chocolate back to the room, there's some apples as well and water station in reception to fill up the complimentary Voss bottle which is supplied in the room. We found the staff to be really friendly and helpful throughout the stay and would 100% recommend staying here to anyone as it's got a nice, relaxed atmosphere which was welcome from a busy day of sightseeing, and we found it to be great value for money.Show More

I never take my time to write reviews but for this experience I will. I got into the city really early after a red eye flight from the west coast, and was greeted at the front desk with a very kind/helpful gentleman that got me taken care of right away. That’s how my whole stay went, everyone I interacted with was forward thinking and really helpful. Took care of things before I even asked of it, and made my trip stay really easy. They have a bagel/croissant breakfast you can take advantage of as well. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and just the right space size for a single person or couple. I was able to walk to all the places I wanted to see/visit while I was there within about 10/15 min. I took the LIRR in from JFK to Penn station and it was about a 8 min walk from there. I’ll def be keeping it on my list for future visits.Show More

Quiero hacer una mención especial a Enzo, quien estuvo siempre pendiente de que no nos faltara nada. Su dedicación y buena disposición marcaron la diferencia en nuestra estadía. Las instalaciones son perfectas. Cuando hicimos la reserva, figuraba que el desayuno no estaba incluido, pero nos sorprendieron con una espectacular máquina de café y manzanas disponibles las 24 horas. Y como si eso fuera poco, por las mañanas agregaban donas, croissants, queso, mermelada y miel. ¡Un detalle que realmente valoramos!
