Avoid at all costs. The UHG group that owns or manages this property should be ashamed to accept bookings (without full disclosure about the renovation going on all floors at any time of the day. Loud drilling, laborers talking over the din, and doors left wide open- presumably for ventilation. After an indifferent check-in by what I can attribute to being harassed by guest complaining like me- to no avail because either 1) they don't care, or they have been instructed to deflect complaints with (if you are lucky) a room change, or to ask if the guest would like to check (but no offer of a refund, an upgrade or a gift voucher in compensation). We moved to a new room only to be awakened by workers drilling again next door. The Quarter Hua Lumphong is a work in progress but still has a long way to go. Read others' reviews!Show More

There are always tuk-tuks in front of the hotel, which I really liked. It's very close to Chinatown and easy to walk there. The hotel is a bit older, but everything is fine. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are fine and as described on the website. You have a beautiful view from the balcony. Unfortunately, I didn't try the pool, so I can't comment on that. The breakfast is very varied and international every day. From my point of view, I can only recommend it for a short trip or even for a longer stay.Show More

The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of fresh options. Our only small suggestion would be to have the pool open earlier in the morning.
