There’s a ton of food options, shopping and everything NY midtown has to offer, right within walking distance. It’s also located on a quieter street, which is a plus, at night. Why two stars? It’s a very very old property, I had to get my suitcase up the stairs just to walk in. The rooms are old, shabby and the carpet is awful and smelly. There is no coffee, no bar, just bare minimum, for a very steep room rate. There are no amenities, and a bathroom is tiny with no counter space. The only redeeming quality is that it’s within walking distance to everything. I was able to open the window in the room, so the old carpet didn’t bother us. If you have allergies, this property is not for you. It would have been fine if it was less expensive, or, if it was described as such. Somehow TripAdvisor, usually right on point, was way off.Show More

Parte del personal muy servicial (otros... bueno... dejémoslo en que solo fueron correctos). La zona muy céntrica, a dos pasos de la 5 Av, muy cerca de Bryant Park, con servicios de supermercados, cafeterías y restaurantes relativamente cerca, y cerca también de Times Square.Show More

While I got a nice reception from the friendly check in lady, the hotel is strange. The lobby is nice and large with a lovely fire. However there is no open/functioning bar or any food option at all. I don’t know why. The rooms are really dated with an odd furniture arrangement and chose. The fixed desk is in the middle of the room facing the bed. I also found the air con vent by the window extremely loud and couldn’t turn it off. I wish I had stayed somewhere else having paid $450 per night during the NYC marathon weekend.Show More
