I stayed here with my sister because she had a conference located at the hotel (so we pretty much had to stay here at least for part of the week). There are actually 3 different buildings with shuttles that can take you between the buildings. Honestly, you lost me there already but fine. We stayed in Building 1 which was the main building for the conference, but from what I heard the oldest and most outdated of the buildings at the hotel. Several people in the conference group complained of having no hot water for DAYS. They reported this to the hotel, the hotel promised to fix it, but did nothing. These people had to shower with cold water all week. In our room (and at least one other room of someone at the conference who mentioned the same issue) I found multiple bugs including a roach climbing around the headboard. I was absolutely disgusted and was grateful that we were checking out that day. There is a shuttle you can pay for to take you into the city. The price is reasonable, but the one day I decided to use this shuttle it was EXTREMELY late. I had timed tickets to a museum and thankfully the museum was flexible about my arrival time, but I know there are other places with timed tickets that are not very forgiving. If you choose to take taxis or ubers, the price will be a lot steeper. I paid about 40 euros each time I needed to get into the city. I would much rather pay for a hotel to stay closer rather than commute in from here (this is actually what we ended up doing partway through the week and transferred to a more central hotel). I would never stay at this hotel again and I wholeheartedly recommend no one stays here either if given any choice in the matter.Show More

Upon checking into my room , I was shocked to find a very large human waste left in the toil...I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at Sheraton Parco de Medici. Upon checking into my room , I was shocked to find a very large human waste left in the toilet — something I never imagined encountering in a hotel, let alone one under the Sheraton brand. When I reported this to the front desk, I was offered a free drink at the bar as compensation. How that could possibly make up for such an unsanitary and unacceptable experience is beyond me. I was then transferred to another room , only to find towels with holes and a non-functioning hot water shower, forcing me to use the handheld hose from the bathtub. Clearly, there was no effort to ensure that the replacement room was properly prepared. What made matters worse was the complete lack of follow-up or concern from hotel management. The Duty Manager did not reach out to check on the situation, confirm if the new room was in order, or even offer a personal apology. Frankly, I have experienced more care, cleanliness, and professionalism in modest hostels than at this property. I also sent an email to the hotel immediately after check-out — it has been three days and I have yet to receive any response. This was, without question, the worst hospitality experience I have ever had, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously. Guests deserve far better from a hotel carrying the Sheraton name.Show More

The Sheraton staff was more helpful, the charges I was quoted and incurred were what was billed (not so at the Marriott). The Sheraton had an in room refrigerator. The Sheraton had ice machines on the floors ( although they were not working during our visit). The handheld shower wand in the Sheraton tub bath was hard to use and could not be put anywhere during use without flooding the bathroom, however the Marriott had a similar issue in their tub bath. The Marriott did have a separate free standing shower. Dinner at the Sheraton ( spaghetti) was under cooked. Both had issues but based on the attitudes of the staff I recommend the Sheraton.Show More

I came from a long flight, very tired, and the room I was given was unbelievably dirty hair on the bed, stains on the floor and tables, even food outside my door. The pillow covers and toilet were dirty too. I took pictures and videos because I couldn’t believe this was the Sheraton. Even after I reported it, the new room they gave me was also dirty. The staff were not helpful and took so long to assist me. It’s really shameful for such a big, famous hotel to have rooms like this it felt cheap and untrustworthy. This is not the first time I’ve seen this, and nothing changes. Sheraton should be ashamed. No guest deserves to sleep in a dirty room like that.Show More
