We stayed here for one night as part of a package, post-Scenic Gem River cruise. The good points : the location was upmarket and close to attractions and shopping. A sophisticated and refined hotel. It was our least favourite compared to the other two hotels we stayed in because the room was small and we felt cramped. -The bed was unusually high, the shower over bath was hard to get into and wouldn’t be great for anyone with mobility or balance issues. -The included breakfast was average quality and served in a windowless basement room. -The lobby and reception area was very busy and felt impersonal. When we were planning our holiday, we were given the price to stay extra nights here but instead chose a hotel across the river and booked a suite. If you’re paying for the hotel yourself, there are more spacious, more personal, better value options in Paris.Show More

The room was spotless and cleaned thoroughly every day, which made me feel very comfortable. All the staff I encountered were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. One of the highlights of my stay was breakfast. Every morning, I was warmly greeted by Christofhe, who not only remembered my name but also spoke multiple languages — Chinese, Japanese, English, and French — fluently. Talking with him was a delightful way to start the day. The restaurant served delicious food, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming — perfect for relaxing before heading out. The front desk and entrance staff were also incredibly kind and efficient, always quick to assist with any questions or issues. Everything about this hotel felt thoughtful and well-managed. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, and I’m already looking forward to coming back soon!Show More

Fresh flowers are evid...The hotel is in a convenient part of Paris - a 10 min. walk to the Tuileries garden , twenty minutes to the Louvre. The interior design and decor is spacious, simple elegance. Fresh flowers are evident everywhere in the common areas. The staff is incredible. Attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. They want to please you. In particular I want to mention two people working in the hotel who I had encounters with. The first, when we arrived, was the chief concierge, Emmanuelle. She was excellent and accomplished every guest request from where to shop for well made, affordable, clothes to ballet, opera and show tickets. She worked to get dinner reservations in some restaurants where reservations are difficult to acquire- no small feat. Also, the hotel restaurant manager, Christophe. He was charming and attentive to every table of guests. I would rate the Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opera a five ( shining) star hotel!Show More

The staff not only gave me but everyone exemplary service and attention. My room (Junior suite) was spacious and spotless with four separate rooms. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. The breakfast choices were very generous and tasty. Christophe brighten up the dull mornings with his charm and helpfulness. And Justine always had a welcoming smile and ready to help when needed. The concierge staff catered to my needs with a 3 hour walking tour that was different - Opera and Passages Couverts plus some hidden treasures. I had 4 wonderful nights at this hotel and Paris never disappoints albeit the wet weather!!Show More
