We didn’t use the kitchen or have breakfast or coffee in the morning since we were pressed for time but it was available. I had hoped for a coffee pot in the room but only a kettle and nothing else. Didn’t even have a TV. The bed was clean and very comfortable but the overall cleaning of the room could be better. There was still hair and dirt in the tub and the lower shelf was super dusty. Also water was not hot enough. Some water damage in room and unfinished plaster/ trim. Otherwise a very nice room in a beautiful house. Rooms are not soundproof so we were woke every morning at 7am to cooking and movement downstairs. An overall ok stay with acceptable hosts. Show More

We enjoyed our 3 day stay. We stayed in 2 different rooms because I added an extra day at the last minute. The rooms were both clean, bathrooms were great. The basement rooms don't have an attached bath but it is 2 steps from your door. Each room has a private bathroom Our host made us a lovely breakfast each morning. Beautiful place to stay and it was a great location. 15 minutes to White Rock pier and shopping malls within walking distance Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Due to a brief mistake, a double booking occurred, and the host kindly offered their private apartment unit instead. While the bedding and cleanliness didn’t fully meet expectations due to the last-minute preparation, we were still able to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful ocean view. The breakfast we had been looking forward to was kindly offered free of charge, which we appreciated. Seeing the host working hard and sincerely left a strong impression on us. Wonderful small talk!
