This is a tough one. There's a lot to like here but also a lot of room for improvement in my opinion. The positives are the location, the size of the suites and I guess the bed was pretty comfortab...This is a tough one. There's a lot to like here but also a lot of room for improvement in my opinion. The positives are the location, the size of the suites and I guess the bed was pretty comfortable. However I felt the description of the room was a bit deceptive. They claim it's a 3 room suite with a "sleeping lounge" which I interpreted as a separate place for our teen to sleep, but really just referred to the "bedroom". I've never heard a bedroom called a sleeping lounge....anyway they did give us a roll away bed but that was not what we were hoping for. My real complaint was the staff-they were nice enough, but seemed a little clueless in the customer service area. I actually would blame management for this. As an example, when we checked in at 4:30 (a full hour and a half after the stated check-in time) we were told out room was not quite ready but we could wait in the bar for 15 minutes or so and they would text me. Uh...ok....and? Finally I had to ASK for a some small gesture and was given some drink vouchers that I discovered expire the next day....same thing with pointing out the discrepancy with the room description. Finally given $100 dining credit. I appreciated those but felt like I was made to be the bad guy by having to ASK. I feel a 5 star property should be a little more versed in being pro-active in customer service. Last bits- Our waitress at breakfast was lovely. The bar tender as the bar was not. And not very good to boot. And lastly the elevators are total pain in the ass-dumb system with key cars and pre-programmed floor stops. Annoying. i would shop around before booking. There is a fine line between minimalistic and cheap, and this hotel is right there or maybe leaning on the cheap side of things. Pros: Views-AMAZING!!! Competent Gym Lavazza coffee maker in the room Beds are comfortable and linen is ok Cons: -Lobby is non existent, nowhere to seat or even wait for your Uber/Taxi -Where is the Concierge? -The most nonchalant staff ever. I get the vibe is casual but at least try to pretend you care. I requested pen and paper ( none in the room ) and after over 60 minutes and 3 calls ( the last one the operator told me " I gat chu " ) I had to come down and get it myself. I also requested an extra blanket and took 2 calls and in person request to get it. -Cheap furniture in the room, and half of the outlets ( under the "sofa" ones" did not work, so if I wanted to work seating there and on the extra small round table in the room, I could not have done it. -The towels were not only extremely rough and cheap, but they were very small. I mean the shower towels are barely mid size towels, like kid size towels. No slippers, no water in the room, but they do have an ice and water station on each floor, but if you do not have a bottle, you ( I did) have to use the glasses ( nice glasses ) in the room. Made like 6 trips in 2 days. Again it might be my fault for having higher expectations than I should, and now that I have experience the hotel, and lowered them, I will definitely come back and try more of the outlet that seem to be great.Show More

Housekeeping Inconsistency: On multiple days, we turned on the “service” light before leaving the room, but housekeeping never arrived. Over the entire stay, our room was only serviced twice. This was surprising and inconvenient given the length of our stay. 3. Linen & Room Cleanliness: At the start of the second part of our stay, we noticed stains on the bed’s foundation. It raised some concerns about the overall room cleanliness. 4. Itching and Skin Reactions: Both my fiancée and I experienced significant itching every night after sleeping. We couldn't determine the exact cause—whether it was the sheets or the room conditions; but it led to visible marks and required a doctor visit. The irritation continued for more than two weeks, and some marks are still present. 5. Loyalty Points Not Credited: The hotel’s website stated that Virgin Points would be awarded for our stay. We were there for 10 nights, but even after two weeks, the points have still not been credited. 6. No Response From the Hotel: I shared all of these issues with the hotel about ten days ago. Even shared some pictures from scars after itching issue after their request. Unfortunately, I haven’t received any response or acknowledgment from them.Show More

The finishings felt low end - the shower handle was loose, the toilet seat was not soft close, the in room safe was broken, the bed/bedding/pillows were not very comfortable, and the doors and windows didn't insulate you from much of the outside noise. Also, this is definitely my OCD, but it was odd that there were two espresso cups but they were different sizes. Outside of the room, the only place open for dining while we were there was Everdene - we had breakfast included in our reservation but it is definitely not something I would pay for. They didn't say they were out of spinach, they simply brought my omelet without spinach and didn't say anything...until I asked if I could get some spinach... Cocktails were okay in the evening though. And finally, we picked up our car from the valet, they didn't give us our key back, we all forgot I suppose... But when we said they could mail it to us, they said we would need to send them a prepaid envelope. Thank goodness we don't need that key right away, but not an impressive customer service experience on top of an already mediocre stay. Will definitely be taking our business elsewhere next time!Show More
