I was pleasantly surprised by the rate (a Sunday night booking, and on pretty short notice) and the bedroom was spacious. While a Hilton was just opposite, I liked the idea of staying in an older hotel this time, with a bit of charm. There's no garage below the building (we drove into Manhattan) but they do valet to a garage directly across the street. The luggage-hold was a wonderful feature too, as we knew we'd need to leave the hotel before checkout time for the museum, but return for our luggage and car in the mid-afternoon.Show More

Front desk, door men, and concierge were fantastic. The repairmen (that we used a few times were great). The location was phenomenal and was walking distance to Times Square, Central Park and many other sites. Location and friendly staff were 5 stars. The hotel lobby was great. The rooms were outdated, which would be fine if it was kept up. There were clearly signs of wear and tear on the furniture doors, etc. The bedroom was large, which was unexpected, but the bathroom was tiny. The shower door couldn't be opened without opening the bathroom door. There were obvious signs of wear all throughout the bathroom. The room got hot every night. We replaced the air conditioner twice. That didn't help. It seemed the hotel managed the AC and heat from a central location. Even though it was cold outside, we were sweating throughout the night. We ended up sleeping with the windows open, which worked but paying that much for a hotel I thought we would have working AC. The rooms were clean but it was dated and there were obvious signs of needed repairs. Overall, we may stay again for the location and helpfulness of staff. But I may look elsewhere.Show More

Short walking distance to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central, Columbus Circle, Theater District, Fifth Avenue, and lots of fantastic restaurants. We stayed in a beautiful one-bedroom suite which turned out to be perfect for this trip with my daughter and 3 year old granddaughter. It rained three of the seven days we were there so we spent more time in the room than we normally do. Having such a spacious and comfortable suite was great! The elevators are small but we generally didn't have to wait or wait long for one. The hotel staff provided excellent care. We especially loved the side entrance with the ramp to navigate the stroller easily in and out of the hotel. Would definitely recommend the Warwick and hope to stay here again in the future.Show More
