You can ride to the closest chairlift from the hotel door; you can walk to the nearby bars and restaurants. From my room, I could see the gondola that takes you to happy valley and the CAF (cafeteria). It is older. eg bar heater that needed tweaking by maintenance, the shower pipes make a squawking noise, but the window has priceless views.
