We stayed with our daughter in an apartment in the annex. The apartment did not have much natural light, but was otherwise generally very nice. However, starting on the second day of our stay we not...We stayed with our daughter in an apartment in the annex. The apartment did not have much natural light, but was otherwise generally very nice. However, starting on the second day of our stay we noticed a heavy scent of sulpur in the hallway of the building. It was so bad we thought it might be a hazardous gas leak. We also started noticing insect bites. When we called the front desk we were told it was the smell from the sewer and "nothing to worry about". By the fourth day there were so many flies in the hallway it was impossible to pass through without them landing on us, and impossible to come in or out of the apartment without admitting 25-30 flies into the apartment. After which time we had to madly swat at them. We were told they were in fact mosquitoes and the hotel brought us a spray to use inside the apartment but made no other attempt to control them or move us to a more acceptable location. Overall, quite unhappy with what was advertised as a "luxury" stay.Show More

The room was smallish although extremely comfortable, & within walking distance to the city's major attractions. In the main areas of the hotel there are beautiful artifacts & artworks & comfortable lounges to sit & admire the surroundings. The breakfast is exceptional & you definitely won't leave hungry. The staff are friendly & professional & happy to assist when needed. Our train was was cancelled due to a strike & the female receptionist was so helpful in assisting us with another night at the apartment that they own ( which I may add was wonderful ) I would definitely stay at this hotel if I was to return to Bolonga & highly recommend itShow More

Room awas amazing and very spacious for our family. Nice decoration, SKY box TV, steam room in the shower etc. Staff was very friendly, especially the guy, who helped us with lugagge, parking a car and the day after he was also serving breakfast. Also reception staff very pleasant. They extended our stay for an hour because we were late with the check out.Show More

From the moment we arrived we were taken care of in every way. The hotel staff was very helpful in giving us many outstanding recommendations for dinner and activities to do in and around Bologna. The location was wonderful right in the heart of the main piazza across from a beautiful medieval church, walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping in a bustling area. The breakfast was also wonderful and had something for everyone with great coffee service as well. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough!Show More
