He was robotic and never smiled. He did, however, change my room from 3rd floor to first floor like I originally requested in my online reservation which was ignored for some reason. 3. The a/c only cooled the room well at night. 4. The floor was dirty. 5. The fridge door would not shut and seal so I couldn’t use it. 6. The smoke detector in the hallway just outside of my room had a low battery and chirped loudly every 10 seconds. None of the staff seemed concerned. It’s an easy fix. 7. My main complaint is that the cleaning staff stole my little ‘do not disturb’ sign that I made myself. I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels. I will sometimes have to extend for a day or two, so I made my own little sign and laminated it. It’s very well done with red font and explains the extension and how room service is not needed. It’s in English and Spanish. I attached it to the room door before I left in the morning. When I returned that evening, it was gone. I confronted the desk clerk about it and she didn’t think that the cleaning crew would take it. I explained that I would not back down and would report it as theft. I suggested that if they deny taking it, we can review the security camera footage. Well, the sign miraculously turned up within 30 minutes at the front desk. The room and hallways have an odor, probably from the air conditioning units. It appears the hotel's solution was to put plug-in air freshners that only masked the smell. After a while, the strong scent from these freshners started giving me a headache. The towels and linens are definitely used and should probably be replaced with newer ones. Many of the bed linens had stains and the bath towels were coming apart at the seams. I stayed for three nights and room service never came in to make the bed or restock the room. When I asked why, they said they only had two housekeepers on staff who came in for a few hours during the day and couldn't get to all the rooms. Breakfast options were ok. Waffle maker and fresh fruit were available so I was happy about that. Overall, if it were me, I would stay at another place that is cleaner and more updated.Show More

I stay at many best Western hotels. This by far has to be the worst! .I arrived late due to my plane flying in from out of state the room was sprayed with a fragrance to Cover up the mold I’m sure. The sheets were ripped. They were stained basically the room was not Cleaned prior to our arrival there was still pee around the Bathroom toilet. The light switches have never been wiped down. The table was broken in the sitting area. I had to ask for sheets because it was too late for me to move in the middle of the night make my own bed and had to sleep on a queen sheets on a king king bed because they were out of sheets. It was so So gross. I was using points for this room and staying for free. I still checked out of my three days stay and move to the Hilton.Show More

I was frustrated with check in. But the front desk man was still very nice. I was told I would need to give a 100$ deposit. Is that because the area is terrible and not great people stay or is this a new Best Western policy? The property is starting to show its age. Air freshener in room is a huge red flag for me. Over all I trusted the name but it wasn’t the usual Best Western I am used to. Breakfast was typical but area was clean and food was hot. Woman working breakfast was attentive and present. I didn’t enjoy the amount of workers there just a personal thing. After work they like to drink and be loud. Not something I want my children around. I would have been happier had it cost 100$ a night. Show More
