A major fall hazard especially for kids. The floor above us has signs of leakage from the same ac spot, another family member was forced to check out early due to non functional ac. To make it worse, the metal cover suddenly propped open where my 3yo is and a few inches closer he would have been hurt. There is no regard for safety. No one answers their front line so emergency like how the ac troubled us cannot be met with urgency because they said that they are full that week and they’re very busy to keep answering calls. Laundry is a joke, was needing a token to use their laundry service but they said that because it’s a weekend, I have to wait the following morning. What’s even more frustrating is that the front desk wasn’t empathetic rather dismissive about my frustration because I have to do the laundry that night. Imagine the reasoning that it’s because it is a weekend, they can’t give me token? I went back in the morning 3x to check but lo and behold they still didn’t have any until their guy comes to bring the token at past 10am.Total disregard for clients time. This is a very unsafe and inconvenient hotel, stayed 8/23 -26, and truly regrets the choice I made. Stay away from this hotel . No customer service, no safety protocols.Show More

For the price, I could’ve stayed somewhere much nicer. The hotel is quite outdated, and the cleanliness was below standard. The floors felt dirty underfoot, there was visible dust, and I found mould in the shower of my bathroom. There’s no room service, which I was okay with since I ended up eating at their on-site restaurant—which was actually quite nice. However, the shuttle service was frustrating. It only runs every 30 minutes, and when I needed to get to the airport in the morning, the shuttle that arrived was full. I was told I’d have to wait another 30 minutes, so I ended up paying for a $20 taxi instead. The noise levels were also terrible. At 3 a.m., there were loud, drunk guests outside my door, and I couldn’t sleep. I had to call the front desk to intervene. To their credit, the staff were friendly and did respond, but the overall experience was still very unpleasant. I don’t understand how this hotel is getting perfect 10/10 reviews—my experience was far from excellent. I would not recommend staying here. Show More

Do not order a cocktail at this place. I ordered a nice sounding cocktail with whisky, ginger liqueur to be served in a smoke filled glass cloche (as per the menu). Was served a drink with non-alcoholic ginger beer and no smoke filled cloche. When I asked about the ginger beer, I was told they were out of the liqueur and management told them to use ginger beer instead…and yet I was being charged the same price for less alcohol. My lovely server reduced the price, but if I hadn’t known they switched ingredients, they would have just charged me full price for something I did not order. Also, kids menu says “choice of milk” but they only had white milk. Our server went out of his way to buy a chocolate milk somewhere else. Staff was good…but the place is mismanaged.Show More

I booked this property at the last minute and still got a better rate than many others nearby. Reception staff was very accommodating, and I felt welcome from the shuttle picked me up at the airport. ...I booked this property at the last minute and still got a better rate than many others nearby. Reception staff was very accommodating, and I felt welcome from the shuttle picked me up at the airport. My room was clean, west facing and so I had a view of the airport. I had access to a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The room had an easy chair and a table, numerous power outlets and light fixtures. The bathroom was stocked, only a dispenser for hand soap didn't work, but that didn't bother me as I had body wash and shampoo available. My only gripe was the road noise, which I guess couldn't be helped as these mod vehicles make a heap of noise wherever they are. I would definitely stay here again. There's access to TTC buses and easy movement via the hotel shuttle which runs practically every 30 mins 24/7. A number of food options are within 5 mins walking. I felt safe and unbothered. Overall a good experience.Show More
