The beds were comfy (Bunk beds) and the disabled toilet on the ground floor was a nice space to shower. Getting into your room is super easy and quick - just gotta remember the codes!Show More

We had a music gig on the night we stayed and it...This is an impressively run backpackers/hotel accommodation, exceptionally clean and with added clear instruction's to enter the facility after hours. We had a music gig on the night we stayed and it was easy to get access in the wee small hours. It was warm the bed was clean and comfortable and the showers were hot. Retro interesting if your a prison history buff. And quite amazing this wasn't pulled/demolished down after the earthquakes & the associated loss of architectural history that Ch Ch suffered. Its a perfect repurposing for this building. Well done whoever had the vision to see this new purpose for the building and that it would enhance accommodation for Otautahi/Christchurch.Show More
