First, half the property was under construction, which took away from the overall experience. The hotel definitely needs renovations, and this wasn’t clearly communicated when booking. The breakfast was also very underwhelming — not many appealing options, and definitely not up to standard for what you pay. I specifically booked this hotel for the washer/dryer combo, which unfortunately did not work properly. I asked for help several times, but no one seemed to know how the dryer function worked. That was frustrating and made laundry during my stay more difficult than it needed to be. Another odd issue was with babysitting services. The website lists this as an available amenity, but they had to search for someone off-site, which made me question the reliability of what was being advertised. Thankfully, the sitter they found was wonderful — but the process didn’t feel professional or prepared. What really caught me off guard was the experience with their sister hotel, Samala. They claim to offer complimentary access to their pool — but then turn around and say there's a $15 charge to use it. That’s not complimentary, and the messaging is misleading.
