I have stayed at PARKROYAL properties in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, and while the brand has always delivered excellent hospitality, the Bangkok property exceeded my expectations at every step.
This started with the General Manager, Mr. Preecha YARANGWONG. Prior to arrival, I had requested a proper desk chair because I was working remotely during my stay. My initial request was not understood, but once I met the General Manager, he arranged an ergonomic chair for me right away. His support made a significant difference.
Check-in was fast and efficient. I was offered a complimentary upgrade to a Premier Suite, which made my stay even more comfortable. The room was spacious and well-designed. The suite was bright, clean, and well-organised with lots of natural light. The bed was comfortable. I had requested a single king bed instead of twins, and that request was honoured without issue. The large work desk was incredibly useful for my long stay.
The bathroom was clean, functional, and had reliable water pressure and hot water at all hours. A hand bidet is also attached to the toilet. The kitchenette was one of the most helpful features. It had a washing machine, a kettle, basic cookware, dishes, and cutlery. The small fridge was mostly filled with minibar items, so I rearranged a few waters to create space for my own things. One thing to note is that the kitchenette did not have kitchen cloths or paper towels. I solved this by taking small napkins from the cafe downstairs. Facial tissue was provided in the room.
The air conditioning worked perfectly. The wardrobe space was more than enough for a 20-plus-day stay. An iron, an ironing board, and a small safe were provided. The TV was modern and ideal for watching YouTube or playing music.
Housekeeping was consistent and polite. They knocked almost every day to ask if I wanted the room cleaned. Towels were always fresh. Water was provided daily.
At the entrance, Por helped with my luggage and greeted me each time I entered or left the hotel. His friendliness added a sense of familiarity and warmth.
In the restaurant, Mr. Rain was attentive and consistent. Arm and James quickly learned my room number, which made breakfast service efficient and personal. The General Manager also greeted guests in the restaurant very often. His presence made the environment welcoming and professional. These gestures, both large and small, created a truly pleasant atmosphere and sense of familiarity.
The hotel has a pool, a compact yet well-equipped gym, a sauna, a massage parlour, and a comfortable outdoor seating area near the fitness space. I did not use these facilities extensively, but they were well kept and pleasant. Security was present around the clock. They looked sharp and alert, which contributed to a strong sense of safety.
The location is one of the major advantages of this hotel. Soi 6 is calm and quiet, yet a short 30-second walk takes you directly to Soi 4, one of the most vibrant streets in the area with bars, restaurants, clubs, massage shops, and plenty of activity. However, the hotel is not in the main party street; it’s in a quiet area so you get a peaceful night while still being conveniently located.
In the other direction, the BTS Nana station is just 5 minutes away. This gives you access to nearly any part of Bangkok. There is a well-stocked 7 Eleven directly across the road and another one on Soi 4.
Overall, I recommend this hotel for long and short stays. The combination of room comfort, service quality, and unbeatable location makes PARKROYAL Suites Bangkok a solid stay for your visit to Bangkok, regardless of your plans.
Suggestions for management
1. Please consider improving the work desk chair in the suites. The General Manager kindly resolved this for me, but it would be helpful if this option could be standardised or made easier to request in advance.
1. Have water and towels stocked at the gym more frequently. There were times when nothing available. A water fountain would be ideal.
I hope this review reaches the CEO and the entire team. Every staff member contributed to an outstanding experience. I appreciate the hospitality in Thailand and the dedication shown by the team at PARKROYAL Suites Bangkok.Show More
