I chose this inn because it was 3 blocks from my moms house. Also close to the locks and mall and casino. I was born here and lots of memories and a lot has not changed. What has changed is the large ...I chose this inn because it was 3 blocks from my moms house. Also close to the locks and mall and casino. I was born here and lots of memories and a lot has not changed. What has changed is the large amount of people wondering around high on drugs and boarded windows of heritage homes that become drug houses so close to this Inn. The pool was down and the revolving door was down too. The restaurant was closed except for hot breakfast that was very good but could have been changed up a bit daily as we were there a week. The Staff were amazing ,friendly and helpful. Our room was an upgrade 504 and the triangle windows gave us a great view of the locks and fireworks from State side. The bridge was lit up and room was comfortable. The TV stations were limited and room was dated but clean and comfortable. All and all we enjoyed our stay and would probably book there again in the future.Show More

Hotel could definitely use a refresher as it is clearly well used. When I got into my room it was hot and musty smelling. Had to turn on the A/C and wait for the room to cool down. Bed was fine so slept well. No mini fridge in the room for my cold drinks I had with me. The complimentary breakfast looked poor quality and there were no tables free. So I checked out and went a few blocks away and had breakfast at a restaurant. Hotel really could use an upgrade as is well used and worn down.Show More

We asked about walking to a restaurant, and we were told it was best not to be walking out after 9pm. We drove to another hotel on the river to have dinner. Breakfast is very average at best, but it was hot. We only needed a quick overnight stay, and we would stay here again for the convenience, comfortable room & price.Show More
