At the pool there w...A nice enough hotel, but we did not find the customer service to be great. When we arrived, we were not welcomed but instead felt like we were bothering them by trying to check in. At the pool there was no attendant and no towels, so we asked at the front desk where we were told “someone should be there…” but that was it (and there wasn’t). Eventually the front desk person came to get the towels. Lastly, the restaurant staff were again seemingly bothered by my presence asking to view a menu. In our room, the last guest’s beverages were left in the fridge, and the tub was not very clean. Overall, the staff were not as friendly as you’d hope for a hotel, and the room was just okay in terms of cleanliness. The location of the hotel is ideal with lots of amenities around. We were fine with our time here and we enjoyed our trip, but would likely stay elsewhere if we come back to Sault Ste Marie.Show More

Best of all, ALL the staff were welcoming and friendly, from the helpful check in associate who gave me some useful suggestions for my solo wandering, to the smiling and pleasant housekeeping staff, to the hospitable server who gave me a hug as I took my leave. It was a very positive experience and, if in the area aain, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the excellent customer service!!! A rare commodity in this 21st century.Show More

Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The AC in my room was extremely loud—woke me up several times the first night. I reported it to the front desk, and they said it would be fixed, but nothing changed. Same issue the second night. I didn’t feel I got value for my money. The swimming pool has very limited and unusual hours, which wasn’t convenient. Also tried Casey’s Grill Bar—disappointing, all the dishes we have tried were mediocre at best . Next time, I’ll be looking elsewhere.Show More
