The stay overall was great. The staff was super helpful, and the room was, by and large, outstanding. The location was very convenient for my activities in the city. The only negative I had for the entire stay was the presence of someone else's hair stuck to the wall in the shower. I did not notice it until I was in the shower, but it was not well cleaned. I am not talking about *A* hair; no, it was a substantial amount of long hair stuck to the wall. I was very thankful that I was only there for one night and, more importantly, one shower...

10/10 The best
Everything about the hotel was great. Big, comfortable room with lots of nice little touches, like an umbrella and a terrycloth robe, and spotlessly clean. Staff couldn't have been better. I especially want to thank Ivan, the concierge, who was super friendly and full of good advice. The hotel is in a great location with lots to see (and eat!) in the area. We walked to the flower show at the convention center and to the Barnes Foundation, each walk about 15-20 minutes. The art museum is only a little farther. I would certainly stay there again!

9/10 Quick one night visit the staff at check in and check out were very friendly and professional.
The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect for waking to local restaurants, shopping and nearby activities.

Perfect location off Rittenhouse Square with plenty of shops and eateries on surrounding blocks. Excellent service. Very friendly & helpful staff. Lovely, quiet room with large modern bathroom. Very clean. Fabulous buffet breakfast for $22!

10/10 Another great stay at Sofitel Philadelphia
Drove 6 hours from Boston - arrived around 1 and our room was ready! So happy to be able to freshen up before seeing the sights. The concierge is wonderful and the front desk staff were very welcoming.

10/10 Sofitel Hotels Deliver!
I made reservations and stated it was our 25th
anniversary. The concierge Ivan upgraded our room and gave us a card for glasses of champagne. The room was Beautiful, roomy , and very stylish.

It was a great and very comfortable stay in a great location. A but odd that the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner the in room dining menu has so many exceptions to it. The staff were lovely though and incredibly helpful.

Business trip to Philly for 3 nights. Hospitality from front desk to lounge/bar was excellent. The room was farily clean, but the shower was not clean. There was mold on the shelfing in shower.

The staff was very friendly and offered free bubbly to celebrate my husbands birthday. We enjoyed the buffet brunch the next morning. The hotel was very close and easy to walk to restaurants and other sites.

I visited my daughter for her birthday. We were upgraded to a King Suite which was truly special and greatly appreciated. The facility and staff exceeded my expectations -- friendly, attentive, completely aware of guests. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great location. The bellman kept our bags after checkout while we went to lunch and he recognized us as soon as we returned, greeted us by name and collected our bags quickly -- so nice! I look forward to staying at the Sofitel Rittenhouse on my next trip 'home' to Philly.

3/10 Very disappointed
We use to come here every year for are anniversary and loved it. The last several years we were not able to come so decided this year we would make the trip in. What a disappointment. Hotel is in need of a update for sure. Are room was on the 5th floor and I even upgraded to a better room. My mistake spent extra money for a room that had the worst odor that I couldn't even sleep. All night you can hear people in the halls and other rooms talking. But the worst part was when we checked out it took 40 minutes for them to get are car and then to make it worst they didn't even tell us they had it my husband had to go and ask them and they told him YEA it's right there!!!! They had just left it right in the middle of the road
running and with the keys still in it. I will never stay here again. To be charged all that money for this type of service. There are many hotels in Philly stay somewhere else for sure.

9/10 I will only come back to stay if Miguel is employed there, and I’ll come directly to the hotel instead of using a third
The service from Miguel. He is the reason I would come back, and him alone. He made me feel welcome, and was the first staff member to not only ask was I greeted, but made it his point to see that I felt at home.

The property was decorated for the holidays and was so festive. Although it was very busy, check in was very fast. The staff at the lobby bar were very friendly and efficient. The food and drinks were excellent . Lastly - the BED was absolutely the most comfortable!!
