There was a slightly dated feel to the meeting rooms and hotel hallways, although I imagine that is due to the high volume of conferences they host - including their direct connection to the conference center. The meeting rooms were fine, and there was a variety of sizes. We hosted a breakfast one morning for a session and the food was good. The servers/attenders we had were all pleasant, engaging, and efficient.
There is a nice but somewhat small bar area for people to congregate in the lobby, grab drinks and some food - makes for a fairly loud lobby area when there is a conference with lots of people, but still a good option for pre- or post-dinner meet-ups.
There is a market in the lobby as well that offers coffee options as well as food (pizza, sandwiches, breakfast items) as well as standard market items. There was frequently a fairly long line, given it was a large conference, but the people behind the counters did a good job of moving people through.
The hotel location, directly across from Reading Terminal Market, with all of its wonderful food options, was great. That presented of quick and varied food options as needed, prior to 6 when it closed.
We did not eat at the hotel restaurant/bar but did come by for drinks. I was less enamored with this place. There wasn't much engagement from the staff and no service for drinks other than to go up to the bar.
The biggest issue we encountered at the hotel, and one they need to deal with, is mice. While we were in the bar having drinks, we observed 2 mice. I then ran into one of our board members who was staying on the 18th floor, and he indicated he had a mouse encounter in his room. That seems to speak to a larger issue.Show More
