Because we had hired a car, we weren’t concerned that this hotel isn’t in a central position in Tokyo and it suited us bett...We secured a great deal for this hotel and our flights via a travel company. Because we had hired a car, we weren’t concerned that this hotel isn’t in a central position in Tokyo and it suited us better to be out of the centre. There was adequate parking which was chargeable. There were always taxis outside. We arrived late at night and the staff at check in were excellent, helpful and friendly. First impressions were of luxury and the art work was stunning. Our room was a perfect size for four (we booked a quad room) and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The bath and shower were very good, and the little things like having bottled water every day was lovely. We didn’t use the onsen/communal bath house as we would have had to get naked and it didn’t appeal to be honest! Had we been able to wear swimwear I’d have definitely tried it. Breakfast was fantastic with so many choices, although a touch expensive (14,500 yen for three adults and a child). Nonetheless it was delicious and the chefs and dining room staff were excellent. We have just got home to the UK and I miss Japan already!Show More

They have really good facilities here, including a convenience store connected to it. It is literally a two-minute walk to a train station. Inside, they've got a restaurant, all mainly Western food, with not much variety and not entirely Japanese, unfortunately. Obviously, they've got to cater for the Western tourists. They have a currency exchange machine here as well. The only let down is the surrounding local restaurants, which are disgusting. The one near the train station has a kitchen that belongs in Kitchn Nightmares. There's nothing good in terms of food locally outside of the restaurant downstairs.Show More
