We took a chance on the resort's last minute offerings and ended up at Tour des Voyageurs I. The reviews are poor so we had low expectations. We ended up being pleasantly surprised. Our stay was not perfect but it was satisfactory. PROS: $155 is a deal for this area Hotel is at the foot of the pedestrian village so a bit quieter than some of the other hotels Our room (253) was clean and almost everything worked (burnt out light bulbs) Bed was comfy and linens were clean Pretty pool and nice outdoor area CONS: Hotel is dated and dark The ceramic grout in the shower was darkened and looked like it had not been scrubbed in quite awhile Tiny TV jammed into corner is almost impossible to watch comfortably Floor length windows open but have no screens and are almost on top of neighbors (no noise or bugs during our stay but seriously no screens? Pool closes at 8:00 p.m., far too early in the summer IMO Spotty service at reception (we made a point of arriving early enough to attend an online meeting at 3:30 p.m. We were told the room wasn't ready. We objected and the desk clerk whined something about it not being her fault. She was completely uninterested in helping us. So we set for our meeting in a dining area next to reception. Over the next hour we heard the desk clerk tell two arriving parties that their rooms were ready. Another employee told us to vacate the dining area because it was reserved for an event. We told him we couldn't leave because our room wasn't ready and it was raining so hard we couldn't leave the building. Three minutes later we were told a room was ready. Not a big deal but we felt the desk clerk was unpleasant and unhelpful. Overall, not fantastic but good enough for the price. We would stay again.Show More

Booked our room the day we before after wondering "What should we do tomorrow?" The property is ideally located at the foot of the shopping and entertainment area at Mount Tremblant. Easy access to everything for summer outdoor enthusiasts.Room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfy. Balcony was a bonus. Only complaint, and it is minor, is after pre-checking in early, we were told we would get a call when our room was ready, likely before the 4 pm stated checkin time. We opted to roam, grab a bite and take the Gondola to the top. No phone call. We arrived back at the property after 5 to a line of 15+ waiting to check in with only one person working the front desk. During my 20-minute wait, my phone rang around 5:30 to let me know my room was ready. The staff was super-friendly despite the long line of watch-glancing impatient guests. Overall a great one-night stay. Enjoyed our time at Mount Tremblant. Show More

There were no extra blankets in the room, but we didn't ask for any either. The biggest drawback was the pool area. Both days, there were no pool towels, and we mentioned it more than once to the lifeguard and the front desk, still none arrived. There is no USB plug in, but that could be because it is an older hotel. There is no cafe for coffee or tea in the morning. So you have to do out to a restaurant. Check out I find lacked in customer service. I was told to wait while employees were around the front desk talking. I just had one question. The clerk put his finger up and told me to wait, and then turned to continue chatting with his co-workers. It is conveniently located near the bottom of the hill and near the carousel that takes you to the top of the mountain. Overall, I'd stay this is a 2.5 star hotel.Show More

Given the extenuatin...Poor customer service. I booked 1 night at Tour des Voyageurs in Mont Tremblant through Expedia, over 2 months ahead of time. My car broke down the day before so I had to cancel. Given the extenuating, out-of-my-control circumstances, and past the refund deadline, I thought maybe the hotel would consider at least giving me a credit for a future visit. I spoke to the front desk 3 times. Was told the manager would call me back but she never did. Expedia sent at least 2 emails to the hotel that were never acknowledged. Lessons learned: 1. This hotel treats 3rd party reservations like second class citizens - is this the industry norm? 2. I will think twice before using a booking service like Expedia in the future.
