As always, our stay at the 1 Hotel was exceptional. We were consistently impressed by the outstanding service that we received during our stay. We believe a hotel with such beautiful grounds should be complemented by outstanding customer service, and the 1 Hotel South beach excels in both areas. This is why we continue coming back.
I would like to highlight several individuals who made our stay truly memorable.
*Carlos at the Sandbox Bar: Carlos the master of margaritas as we called him went above and beyond to provide us with great service. He created new and original cocktails that exceeded our expectations, in addition to the great cocktails from the menu. His charismatic demeanor, friendly nature, and efficient service made him a standout. He worked quick like a machine while providing great service to everyone.
*Jordan at the Rooftop Pool: Jordan was attentive and responsive not only to our needs but everyone around us throughout our days at the hotel. He consistently provided helpful assistance, was on top of anything that was needed, and also took the time to take some great pictures of us. It felt like he anticipated our needs before we did.
*Maja at the Watr Restaurant: Maja was a pleasure to see again this year. Her outgoing personality and exceptional service made our lunches memorable, so much that my husband remembered her home country from our previous trip. She goes above and beyond to provide a great experience and we are grateful that we had to opportunity to see her again this stay. She is truly special.
*Onix at the Rooftop Pool: Onix provided exceptional service on the day we visited the rooftop pool. His promptness, helpful suggestions, and positive attitude made our experience unforgettable. We were sad not to see him on our last day.
*Louis at the Door: Louis greeted us warmly each day and was always ready to assist us with any requests. His friendly demeanor and efficient service made our stay feel comfortable and enjoyable. It felt like we’ve known him for ages.
*Alejandro at the Audi Car Service: Alejandro recognized us from our previous visit, which made us feel valued. His professionalism and friendly nature made our experience with the Audi car service great.
We truly appreciate individuals who go above and beyond to provide outstanding service. We believe that these individuals exemplified 5 star service, and deserve recognition for their contributions to making our and other guests experience unforgettable. They significantly enhance the overall experience of our vacation.
I don’t usually write reviews, but when I make it a point to save the names of the individuals who made our stay so memorable, I believe that it is important to let everyone know that we received exactly what we were looking for—outstanding hospitality. Anyone can build a beautiful hotel, but having a team so dedicated across the board to providing an exceptional experience, is hard to come by. We have been fortunate enough to travel the world and stay in many luxury hotels, and the 1 Hotel South Beach sets the standard to which all others should aspire.

THE most beautiful property in Miami!
Loved EVERY second of it…the room was just magical, lobby and restaurants amazing (great sushi on roof top!), breakfast to die for (buffet version was AMAZING - for health conscious people, a heaven - with quinoa salads, plenty of avocados, fresh vegetables, tones of fruits…), outdoor pools, beach chairs…omg the stuff got us the champagne for my birthday girlfriend and fine chocholates…just THE best hotel ever, really. And I own one in Croatia on the Adriatic coast…so from profesional perspective: well done owners! And managers 👍💪🫶

Fabulous hotel. Our favorite in Miami. Gave us a fantastic upgrade and the place is just beautiful. Great design and very zen. Great big comfortable bed and super comfortable space. The decor and design very cool and comfortable.

10/10 People can make or break the vacation experience!
We’ve stayed here several times because of the location and amenities, which are extraordinary. We’ve never had a problem, but you can really can tell about how a place operates when something goes wrong. Two relatively minor things went wrong: one involving the TV and the other (more importantly) involving plumbing. Both issues were resolved so quickly by such skilled and intelligent crews that I had to mention them:
The IT crew involved 3 people who showed up and resolved the issue quickly:
Don, Michael and Maurice. They were incredibly polite and efficient and refused to take a tip. The plumber was Antonio, and likewise a truly decent and efficient person.
I call them out because since the pandemic it’s so rare to find help like this.
kudos to Hotel 1 for hiring really decent, smart people!

This was my last time here.
The hotel is overcrowded and the service is beyond disappointing—frankly, it’s unacceptable. Staff range from indifferent to outright rude, and most requests are simply ignored. My room wasn’t cleaned for an entire day despite repeated reminders. I waited hours for a laundry bag, and over an hour for a pen—yes, a pen.
But the problem goes deeper than that. This place operates like it has a captive audience—young guests with limited choices—and the rest are treated like an afterthought. Expect long lines, dismissive attitudes, and the overwhelming sense that you should be grateful they’re letting you stay at all.
The rooms? Not great. The prices? Outrageously high for what you get.
Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else. Avoid this hotel.

10/10 Stunning
I stayed there with a friend who insisted she wanted to book this hotel. I was less keen as I worried it would be a party location hotel. While this may be the case for some (rooftop bar) I would be able to tell as it was classy and top notch all around. The rooms are stunning, there are lots of pools and the restaurant choices are good if you want to dine in. The hotel never feels crowded-though it was fully booked-and the facilities (gym, spa, coffee shop) are great and really luxurious. The hotel- not many 5stars do this anymore- does housekeeping and turndown and both are top notch. The price point for what they offer is absolutely worth it. We had a wonderful stay and I will not ever stay at a different hotel in SoBe anymore. Top notch!

It’s impossible to reach reception and all the reception team is very disrespectful and rude and they try to scam us and also there is no room service other than normal times while we are in the room we used to stay one hotel Mayfair totally different experience unfortunately unfortunately it’s the worst experience of my life while I own a hotels around the world I’m really sorry about my experience. It’s such a shame such a nice and beautiful hotel but unfortunately wrong employees ruining reputation and giving us bad experience. with all of my respect to head of the hotel take care of his hotel ASAP thank you

9/10 Super cool vibe at this stylish hotel!
Very cool hotel! Loved the lobby, always fun, busy & buzzy! Rooftop restaurant was also lovely, gym great & loved the lobby cafe too. Beds were comfy.
Staff were all fantastic with special mention to Angel on front desk who went out of his way to look after & was super kind & caring.

The hotel is really quite nice and the staff is EXCEPTIONAL. Very impressive and friendly. It was surprising to see the number of pools - although, you really should not be airing political news programs on the TVs. Very distasteful, to the point of not returning. So surprising that the pool bar tv had on extreme political content.

We thank Anthony from the reception for everything. He took very good care of us and was very helpful. We were very comfortable and peaceful during the days we stayed at the hotel. It was very good that the hotel's car took us to the places we wanted. The housekeeping staff also does a very good job. We will definitely come again.

Our server Maja was nothing short of phenomenal I felt like I was home. The attention to detail, kindness, warmth, you don’t always find that
The food was fabulous I ordered the crispy tuna roll and tuna poke bowl both very refreshing and the tuna was very fresh
The view was captivating and it had a gorgeous view!

The property is extremely modern, clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and also very well maintained. The best part though, is the staff! They are incredibly friendly and attentive. More than most of the other comparable hotels in Miami for sure!
