It was just ok. Not as described or depicted on line. It is not luxury by any means. The property common areas are nice & appear clean, but the rooms are just ok. Does not align with the fees & charges. It's a 2-3 star hotel at best. The first two rooms were filthy, stains & hair all over the pillowcases & sheets, bathroom showers, counters, sinks & toilets were not clean, floors were not vacuumed or cleaned. Rather than apologizing & offering an upgrade, the guy at the counter said r"if you are going to keep complaining you should just go find another hotel" When I showed the pictures he got the manager who was apologetic & called housekeeping to find us a clean room. Not much to ask at over $500/night. It was hours before we were checked in & we had been traveling since 4am. It was my daughter's bday. There was nothing within walking distance & our neither tv worked so we were bored most of the time & took expensive Ubers everywhere so if you are looking to not leave the hotel, this would be an ok option. There is a pool & it's on the beach but they close early. You do get beach chairs which is the only amenity you are getting with the resort fee but they are picked up at 5:30pm daily, which is lame & there was so much seaweed we wouldn't go in the water. We heard every noise from our neighbors. Parts of the hotel were nice, like the 7th floor pool & the main lobby. But the hotel and the food/drinks are way overpriced. The pink touches were cute & girly which is what drew my daughter in, but I would not stay here again & cannot really recommend based on our overpriced mediocre at best experience. The housekeeping needs to do a much better job, they are calling it in which is gross. And the guy at check in needs a better attitude. We asked for towels 4x over 2 days before we got them. It's the little things that make all the difference & they fell short of that as well. Way better places to stay!Show More

Stayed here for my wife’s birthday - had a bit of a nightmare when booking as my wife was arriving first and I was getting there a day later - this seemed to be too difficult to manage and had to make...Stayed here for my wife’s birthday - had a bit of a nightmare when booking as my wife was arriving first and I was getting there a day later - this seemed to be too difficult to manage and had to make two phone calls and send several emails to get this simple arrangement sorted. When arrived, there was no welcome letter or instructions re local amenities - as an example, we found out there was a free blue trolley bus (stop 253) that you can use to get around, eg. To South Beach. Our room, 1220, had a great view in both directions - but partly blighted by the abandoned hotel/condo building next door. Room itself was nice but we had problems with the toilet door not closing and then the toilet taking an age to fill (v noisy). They came to mend it - only for it to flood later in the day. No glasses in the room and you get charged for them to be taken to the room so you have to collect them from the restaurant - strange angle in customer service. Adult pool on floor 7 is nice but the bar is only open at the weekends. Although one of the two hot tubs doesn’t work. Most of the service is surly (particularly at the beach bar, where the server really gives you the impression that serving his one customer an hour is a real effort and inconvenience. He didn’t even have any change whatsoever in his till when someone paid in cash) - which sticks in the throat when you are paying 20% for it - wouldn’t pay them a bean if I was in the UK as their service just didn’t deserve any reward. Exception to this is Anthony- he was really helpful, proactive and friendly. He is a star that stands out in a constellation of dead stars! Beach service is good. Restaurant is very limited and we didn’t use once. So great position (enjoy the boardwalk walk to Ocean Drive - it’s lovely), but we would not return.Show More

I just stayed in the hotel for a weekend. The hotel is reliably excellent in terms of its facilities, rooms and F&B. What bothered me a lot and which is why I am writing this review is to warn you tha...I just stayed in the hotel for a weekend. The hotel is reliably excellent in terms of its facilities, rooms and F&B. What bothered me a lot and which is why I am writing this review is to warn you that they have a Fall Promotion that includes $25 a day of F&B credit. Problem is that you can't use it on the day of departure, even for breakfast. That's not what I was told when I asked a manager the night before if I could use the credit for breakfast the next morning on the day of checkout. She told me that meant that you couldn't use the credit later that day after the 11am checkout had passed. I had to call the hotel several times after I checked out to get the credit and then be told that I couldn't have it because the credit had to be used the day before checkout. I was really upset because my F&B bill was higher than the amount of the credit and I could have avoided all of it by not going there in the first place. Finally, after I really let this person have it, a manager relented and gave me one night of resort fee credited back to my credit card. I'm happy they resolved it in my favor, but I really don't like the whole inconvenience over something I paid for, and they ought to either extend these credits to breakfast on the day of checkout or just do a different promotion.Show More
