The property is about a 15 minute walk from Bologna Centrale, and is not in the old center of Bologna but instead is on the north side, about a 30 minute walk to the main tourist attractions. Taxis can be hard to come by at night, and public transit consists of only packed buses that require you to understand all the routes, so be prepared to do some walking if you stay here and want to do touristy things. The property itself is clean and situated in a relatively quiet neighborhood. The breakfast buffet was large and very good, and there is an on-site restaurant for dinner if you wish.Show More

Breakfast was a highlight though, except for the coffee. You made your own with an automatic machine. A far cry from what you would get at a bar or cafe. The food selection was good and plentiful. Bed was a little hard for my comfort level. A/C turned off when you left the room so it was pretty hot when you returned, but you were able to quickly cool the room down. The hotel is in kind of a sketchy neighborhood. Fine during the day but we werent very comfortable walking back after dark. Very convenient to the train station.Show More
