The gym was adequate, not top of the line but fine. A couple f minor complaints - the TV kept showing a "weak signal" message and losing its connection, the wifi strength was questionable as well. I would have appreciated additional bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) considering I was there for 4 nights, they were used up after the second day, maybe one of those wall mounted shampoo dispensers could be added. The unit was decently equipped and although I didn't cook there, I certainly could have. It would have been helpful to have some basic condiments like salt and pepper, sweetener, sugar etc. in the unit and a tea kettle would be been very appreciated. Overall, I loved the property and would definitely stay there again.Show More

Our Air Canada flight was cancelled prior to our trip and want to cancel or postpone using the suite. We provided the host service with evidence of the cancellation but the host was not willing to assist us. I hoped for a bit of flexibility or understanding—basic decency, really—but were met with rigid and unhelpful responses. The lack of empathy and unwillingness to accommodate us in any way made a stressful situation even worse. I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, and this was by far the least hospitable experience I’ve had. I would not recommend this host to anyone looking for a considerate or responsive stay, especially if you encounter an unforeseen situation and need to cancel or postpone. You will lose your money!Show More

Apartment was on 29th floor so incredible view and nice seating area and small kitchen. Everything was clean. Despite all of this probably would not stay again. First the washroom area was extremely small & cramped and not great to use. Also quality was worse than other parts of the apartment like it was built at two different times? The value in the end wasn't great. No turn down service ($100 per day if you want that) late check out fee and other fees as well. We moved to the W hotel later and on paper it was $100 more expensive, but the space and quality was much more with full hotel experiences. Avalon Suites had good things about it but it is priced too high for the value that you receive. Show More

The room was not very clean (cloth dining chairs were terribly dirty and dusty). Some blinds were broken and wouldn’t work. Lightening was extremely poor and dull. No dish towels are provided and the paper towel quality was very cheap and not absorbent. There is a washer and dryer in the unit but it is locked up and only available to use for $50 (I state this because their communication about this was not clear). No pillow protectors on pillows either. In my opinion, the quality is definitely not on par given the neighborhood- you would expect a bit more. Show More
