The bad- immediately upon getting into our room, things went south quickly. The remote didn’t work for the tv and suddenly I realized that our feet were BLACK and I have a baby who was in the crawling stage! I took a closer look at the floor- filthy. Absolutely filthy floor. I called the manager and told him what was going on and at first he had a “well it’s late, what do you wanna do?” Attitude but quickly changed his tune once he saw the floor and our legs and feet for himself. The next room had cleaner floors but the BATHROOM was god awful. Toilet and sink hadn’t been cleaned in ages. So we went to a third room. I told the manager I wanted to leave at that point and would be (rightfully) asking for a full refund but he asked for a third chance. The third room was fine! that’s not saying much, sadly. But he did say he would speak to housekeeping. Show More

Convenient to downtown. That's the only good thing about the hotel. They charged for parking $16 a day! No advanced warning ao we didn't plan that in the budget. I expected little because i didn't pay a lot but this place was bad. The room smelled bad, it was hot when we arrived. The coffee maker was incomplete. There we're 2 of us but only 1 coffee packet? The shower didn't work properly. I told the front desk about the A/C and was told they don't turn it on while empty. You are expecting guests!! They expect the room to be comfortable when arriving. The bed was uncomfortable our bodies ached for days. We went to get coffee at the office and all the carafes were empty. Show More

The staff ( who were very hardworking, helpful, and friendly) offered to try to print the passes, but it didn’t work. Location was great. Cleaning staff was trying hard. It’s just an old facility that would really benefit from some upgrades. Of course, then it would probably cost twice as much.Show More

The location is excellent. The cost is perfect if you’re economizing. Upon entry the room is clean and basic. There is a coffee maker, hair dryer, soaps, shampoos, mini fridge and a very good clear ic...The location is excellent. The cost is perfect if you’re economizing. Upon entry the room is clean and basic. There is a coffee maker, hair dryer, soaps, shampoos, mini fridge and a very good clear ice—ice maker on the premises. The air conditioner works amazingly in sweltering temps—very quick and icy cold when needed. The beds are firm, but the sheets had several blood stains on them on two separate beds. I requested new sheets and housekeeping gave brand new comforters with clean white sheets. Not knowing the reason for blood stains or blood on two separate beds is pretty gross, but they fixed it. If you stay here, check the sheets before you settle in. Parking is convenient and priced a little less than the average lot surrounding the area. There are two lots surrounding the hotel that are priced at $5 and $10 for 24 hours. Located on Bowie and Crockett—super close, not sure about safety, but it’s cheaper than the $17 a night at the Days Inn. In my opinion, guests should have parking included with their stay, not charged extra. Breakfast in the morning was good. It consisted of a Texas shaped waffle that you make yourself, yogurt, bagels, toast, coffee and some juice. Very carb heavy for all the walking you’re going to do around San Antonio… I like the location, the owners need to work on sanitary conditions of the beds, the breakfast is good and the price is right. It’s very quiet—slept pretty good without any loud noise outside. I’ll probably be back. Show More
