It has all we want to satisfy our needs, i.e., reasonable rates, may it be paying or using points, a room with a balcony with a view toward downtown, a well appointed M Club, friendly staff willing to accommodate reasonable requests, and free parking. Have been staying at this hotel for over twenty years, have seen many changes and am very satisfied with the current model and configuration. This particular stay of four nights, away from the maddening crowd of downtown San Antonio, was a nice escape. Who do we want to thank for providing excellent customer service? Let's start with our friend Frances, who we have known since the M Club was located on, I believe, the 10th floor. She has, as we have witnessed over and over again, been attentive to those who are fortunate enough to have access to the M Club. To Pedro Diaz, Director, Food and Beverage, to Michael in the M Club, to Micah at the bar, to Natalia, Ricky, and Susie at the front desk, who all helped us in some way to make our stay exceptional. Although the room was clean, we didn't care for the softness of the bed as we woke up every morning with sore backs. The sink although stylish was too small. The lighting was poor and the water pressure was weak. The shower had great pressure but their water was soft which meant you always felt like you didn't get the soap off you. The Wi-Fi router was near the ceiling and with the green light, it kept the room from getting dark. The last observation was the frosted sliding door to the bathroom was not something we are fans of. I take responsibility in not paying attention to that while looking for a hotel. The location was great as it is situated next to the interstate. The gym was one of the largest we've seen and it was very nice. Lastly, they have one washer and dryer which is free to use on the 11th floor which was appreciated. Nice hotel but the room's shortcomings wasn't something that will get us back unfortunately.Show More

Damber, who was working in the restaurant and bar area, truly went above and beyond. Every interaction with her was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. In a time when great customer service can be hard to find, Damber stood out as the absolute best. I genuinely hope to see her in a higher position someday—she absolutely deserves a raise for the outstanding experience she provides for all whom she interacts with. The rest of the staff were also fantastic and contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. There are small minor things that could be addressed such as security in the parking areas and updated carpeting, but other than that I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in San Antonio!Show More
