Staff went over and beyond. Breakfast was exceptionally good with a pancake maker.Great location directly across from skytrain and beside Metrotown mall. Hotel supplied ear plugs, first I've ever seen. Comfortable beds, even had a swimming pool!. Front door locked so felt extra safe.

I liked the location, the ease of walking everywhere, free parking, the gym and pool were fantastic and the breakfast had a really good assortment. I have a lot of dietary restrictions and I still had a lot of breakfast options. Staff were so happy and the beds/pillows were some of the most comfortable I’ve had in a hotel.

A couple of great things: the breakfast was good and solid. Good coffee, nice hot choices, and so clean.

From the airport it is easy to get to the hotel using the skytrain. Take the train from the airport to waterfront and then get on the Expo line and it will take you right to the hotel at Metrotown. The hotel is right across the street from the skytrain stop. The hotel uses secure access only so safety is priority. A view of the mountains near by. Lots of shopping right around the hotel. This was my first time staying at Metrotown. I would do it again. I cannot comment on the internet or the breakfast available as I didn't use them. There is an exercise room too! Highly recommend.

10/10 Best stay for a weekend away
It was next to the train station so it was perfect, 15/20 min from downtown. We went for the Taylor swift concert and they made quizzes, there were friendship bracelets, they gave us water bottles with the dates of Taylor’s concerts, it was amazing! The breakfast was really good to

7/10 Convenient & comfortable
This is a basic hotel that ticks all
the boxes for a good sleep. It’s a little far out but the train services across the road are easy to navigate and a credit card will allow you access to train fares. If doing tours I would suggest staying downtown, but we commuted easily and quickly without paying downtown prices. Absolutely lovely staff and the Earls and Cactus Club restaurants a few minutes walk away easy & pleasant dining… actually a major shopping centre and restaurant district walking distance.

Location, attached to the mall and also walking distance to restaurants and other amenities.

The hotel location was excellent as we stayed there many years ago, the staff were friendly, breakfast was good and could be better if more fruits could be provided. Staff at the restaurant were helpful.

They have such a nice team, starting with the crew in the morning on breakfast, a wonderful, inclusive team making every morning a goodhearted start. And also the room service was really appreciative, very kind and supportive. Room was always nicely made. Really positively surprised by Holiday Inn Express here. And the reception team was always helpful and in a great positive mood, it was a pleasure being recognized personally after two days already.
I also liked the pool for refreshing after a bit of sports.

I would just like to ensure that my deposit is refunded for booking my room.
But the people who work there were all very friendly and accommodating. One room didn't work for me because it was by the pool, so thw manager found another room for me. And it was very quiet.

The staff were very professional and helpful. Our check-in and check-out experience was exceptional. We had some shopping to do and the location couldn’t be better to access Metro Town. The room was very clean and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the area.

Staff very friendly. Thumbs up for the great inclusion of people with disabilities. Rooms are clean and the hotel is in an excellent location, right next to Metrotown mall. Breakfast is very good. Free water refils on each level.
