We chose the Holiday Inn because of the price and the fact that it offered a free shuttle downtown. The staff was unbelievably accommodating. Herve checked us in and then checked on us periodically to...We chose the Holiday Inn because of the price and the fact that it offered a free shuttle downtown. The staff was unbelievably accommodating. Herve checked us in and then checked on us periodically to make sure our stay was going well. We were impressed with his service. The shuttle is advertised as going to anywhere in a 2.5 mile radius and a QR code with a map is given for you to look at. We did have one driver, Rich, who said this was wrong. They only have specific stops they can make. These stops are not listed anywhere. He was not very pleasant about the whole encounter, but when I shared the experience, I was treated very nice. Hopefully, they get a new system of communication worked out with where the shuttle goes. And Rich, won't 'yell' at anyone for inquiring about going somewhere that's not on the list. We waited an hour for the shuttle and every other shuttle driver was very kind and informative. We didn't mind the wait, knowing that was the case. I think you have to plan accordingly. If you had something to get to, you'd have to not expect the shuttle to run every half hour. There was traffic, hospital runs (they take precedence) and lots of reasons for delays. One shuttle driver, Jim, said, "we aren't a limousine service". So you need to take that into consideration, and go with the flow. We grabbed a quick breakfast at the hotel and the employees there were wonderful, too. The cleaning service was great; we got free water. Towels and coffee every day. We definitely would recommend staying here again, and will recommend this hotel for others to stay. The staff makes this place exceptional!!!!Show More

Melissa at the check-in desk was so helpfull making sure we had information about the shuttle and getting us our breakfast coupons. Jim and Jason who drove the shuttle we took back-and-forth to Broadway make sure we didn’t have to wait long for pick up/drop off, gave us a lot of good information about the history of Nashville and where to go, and helped those who needed an extra hand on and off the shuttle. There were a number of people who were staying at the hotel who had appointments at Vanderbilt Hospital and both could not have been kinder and more understanding of how little kindness can go along way. tFranklin waited on us us at breakfast each morning,. He remembered how we liked our coffee and that my friend liked extra hot water for hers. He was so kind and helpful. Really everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay! The hotel itself is in a good location. The shuttle provides easy access to Broadway, but where the hotel is located as far enough away that you don’t hear all the noise which was important to us since downtown can get quite loud.Show More

I miss them already. Really good entertainment, including live bands in the Arena, beach foam party (including Michael Jackson show) and firework display the previous week. The entertainment has a different mix every year. There was a new Fish Restaurant this year, apart from the Chinese and Turkish, whose menu included a prawn dish which tasted amazing. We had a room overlooking the sea, which was great but where we spent very little time, because there was so much going on. We spent most of our time on the beach with refreshments readily available from 10 am every day. The restaurant was great. I could quite easily go vegan as the vegetables are really tasty. Some nights there were trays of sushi, prawns or a great variety of salad etc. There was also fish, chicken, beef, turkey and lamb as well as pasta chips and pide etc. Stay away from the sweet display, otherwise you will have to diet for at least a month on returning home. All in all, a great holiday.Show More

I have to travel to Nashville at least monthly, sometimes more, to meet with my heart transplant team since having a heart transplant in a July 2025, and the location is great. Hotel is nice, rooms are good size, balconies are great. However, I’m 5’ 2” with a recent heart transplant and a broken left arm. Having to jump or climb onto the very tall beds was a hassle and painful, causing strain where I shouldn’t have it. Also, the beds are hard. So hard, we didn’t hardly sleep a wink and woke up in so much pain. Other than the beds, and the soaps in the bathroom not being checked well and us not having any hand soap at all, everything else was great.Show More
