I made an error when booking and the...We stayed at Caparena for several days to watch our granddaughter while our adult children were guests at a wedding. The staff at this hotel are very responsive. I made an error when booking and they were extremely understanding and made ever effort to correct it for me. The breakfast buffet was a highlight...they were outstanding with everything you could hope for, particularly if you enjoy sweet treats with coffee in the morning. There was plenty of seating inside and out. The staff is very attentive. As well, we had several wonderful dinners outside under the beautiful evening skies. I cannot express how kind and patient the servers were with our little baby granddaughter...such lovely people. There is a large pool and kiddie pool with a bar just outside the hotel and another eating area and bar by the beach. The beach is fabulous and I highly recommend water shoes for the hot sand and pebbles/rocks. You will want to stay in the water and enjoy this fabulous retreat. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to Taormina - you can't beat this! You get to visit the most wonderful town, but then enjoy the beauty of the beach and not worry about parking. Thank you for an amazing experience - we loved staying with you.Show More

È stata un'esperienza davvero piacevole, circondati da uno staff sempre sorridente e cordiale che ha offerto in ogni momento la sua disponibilità sotto ogni aspetto. Locali puliti a tutte le ore del giorno. Era la prima volta che visitavamo questo hotel eppure ci siamo sentiti come tra vecchi amici. Ringraziamo tutto lo staff per l'eccellente ospitalità: dagli autisti, alle donne delle pulizie, al personale della reception, ai camerieri della spiaggia e soprattutto al personale del bar e del ristorante, con cui abbiamo potuto scambiare qualche altra chiacchiera e per i quali possiamo dire di provare nostalgia di casa ☺️☺️. Un ringraziamento speciale anche alla direzione che ci ha fatto lasciare un'impressione così positiva che ci spinge non solo a tornare, ma a consigliare questo hotel a tutti! Positives: * Reception staff very helpful * Food in the main restaurant is very nice both at breakfast and evening meal * Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels * kettle with Tea & Coffee in the room ( no milk though) * Private beach (need sea shoes) * Free shuttle taxi to and from Taormina throughout the day and evening Negatives: * No shop on site or nearby to walk too. * No water or milk in the rooms even though they have put a kettle and tea and coffee in. * Beach restaurant closed * beach sunbeds on a big slant so you keep sliding off them. Not very comfy * no entertainment throughout the day or night Suggestions: * Pool bar needs a revamp and some low seating * music around the pool would be good * only 4 things on the pool food menu * table service would be nice at the beach bar * some evening entertainment would be goodShow More
