The only thing good about this property. It’s the view from the rooms that have a terrace otherwise this property is absolutely terrible should not rated 9+ on bookings.com . The pool set in the gardens.the Delicious breakfasts, . but what made it special was the warm hospitality of the staff, Staying at this family owned hotel,the 4th oldest in Taormina, learning about its history was to step back in time to the dolce vita of Taormina. Walking into the spacious salotto,, one could imagine guests of yesteryear dressed to the nines coming down for cocktails on the spacious terraces before going into dinner. But what made it really special for us was getting to know the “direttore”Rosario Trefiletti, and learning the history of this family owned hotel.Rosario was always on hand at the reception, at breakfast, whether we were coming or going, making sure that everything ran smoothly and that we had everything we needed. The pool area and gardens are beautiful and peaceful, ideal for unwinding. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the town, and the staff are very attentive.
