This hotel is convenient for the highway and we found it clean and quiet. Check in/out was efficient and friendly. Rooms are functional, decent toiletries are provided along with a microwave. Rooms are functional, decent toiletries are provided along with a microwave. It is a 4 minute drive into downtown Golden. The element letting the hotel down is its restaurant that needs an overhaul. The 'Daily Specials' were the same both nights. I had the ribs the first night and the portion was tiny. The server agreed but did nothing about it! The second night the restaurant couldn't cope as it had 2 tour bus parties. We waited over an hour and a half to get a table. I believe the restaurant is being revamped soon. The staff in the restaurant work really hard, there just isn't enough of them. But as a budget friendly clean hotel it ticks the box.Show More

The condition of the property was old, dusty smelling in the halls. Would not allow check in 1 hour early. When we did finally check in and got to our room it wasnt ready. When we did finally check in and got to our room it wasnt ready. Wanted us to wait another 30 to 45 minutes while they cleaned it. So we said no and got another room on lower floor. Then got back to our rooms the next night and key cards didnt work. Had to go back donw stairs and get them swiped again. The rickys attached to ghe hotel was gross. No flavor in anything, 4 strips was 11.99 on the menu, it was happy hour so it said 9.00. Went to pay and they tried to charge me 16.99. Wife ordered a full salad with garlic bread. Guy drops the salad off and when asked about the bread he says it doesnt come with it. All around joke. Ripping people off. Show More
