The room was sparce but clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. It appears the hotel is being renovated to some extent. The carpet in the corridors are extremely dirty. The interio...The room was sparce but clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. It appears the hotel is being renovated to some extent. The carpet in the corridors are extremely dirty. The interior of the elevator is very dirty. You would not expect to pay $200 per night for a property in this state of disrepair. I spoke to the front desk clerk in English and she then proceeded to ask me to sign a document written in French saying I understood the policies of the hotel. I asked for the information in English but she was not able to provide it. There is no place within walking distance to eat when you check-in in the evening. Despite being told the airport shuttle was on its way, we waited 1+ hours for the shuttle but it only takes about 6 minutes to get to the airport from the hotel. I would not recommend this property. Property is close to Trudeau airport. One of the few that doesn't charge a fee to park but spaces are limited and was quite full by the time I checked in late afternoon. One of the few that doesn't charge a fee to park but spaces are limited and was quite full by the time I checked in late afternoon. Building is a bit run down but clean. Hallway carpets and stairwell carpets definitely seen better days. Room was quiet though you can hear noise from the highway. One of the lamps in my room didn't work. A couple of power outlets also didn't work. Looks like they put new taps in the bathroom sink and new flooring but everything else is still 90's decor. A/C worked well though a but on the loud side. They do have a free airport shuttle which is nice. Check-in was easy and quick. Tim Hortons and McDonald's walking distance as there is no restaurant on site. For the price, it's fine for a night or 2 stay. Show More

However, the property failed to contact me or . to contact Expedia. This "Quality" (NOT!) "Inn" hotel took my money without giving me any benefit of the doubt, like thieves wanting to enrich themselves by stealing new customers (I am new to Expedia!). I feel cheated by these nasty people (can$200), who behave like unreasonable computer robots after I clearly explained this was an honest mistake in the dates, inserted by a reload of the webpage. Do not stay at such a nasty, discourteous and delinquent hotel, Quality Inn - Dorval. It has absurd business rules and no morality.Show More
