They require a photo ...This is a beautiful quiet spot, the hotel is perfectly located on the river boardwalk and very clean and neatly appointed. However, the reservation and check in is a nightmare! They require a photo of you, photo of your passport or other legal ID and a credit card or photo of your credit card back and front. Even after all that when we arrived they tried to run my card incorrectly and then wanted to run my debit card after telling me they do not accept bank debit cards as payment. I called my bank and credit card immedietly and they both said it was an error on the hotel side. After much stressful and time consuming discussion with a less then helpful reception desk clerk they actually ended up charging my debit card and never told me. For an 83 year old woman it was all a bit much for a 1 night stay. While I would love to go back it left a bad taste in my mouthShow More

There was a little hedged-in area wit...My husband and I stayed in room 108, in the Port Building, and thought it was great. The outer door opened on to the boardwalk, with the water mere steps away. There was a little hedged-in area with a little table and chairs for soaking up some sun. The suite was immaculately clean with lots of open space and high ceilings. The little kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. The bathroom was huge, with a large shower that included shampoo, conditioner and body soap of good quality. Lots of closet and drawer space. Very comfortable bed and pillows - we slept quite well. We had a bit of trouble operating the air conditioners and emailed the hotel for help. They responded immediately to assist us. The boardwalk was really nice and led to all kinds of restaurants and bars. We loved Steveston and were super happy with the hotel.Show More

It was a horrible experience. The service of the reception was horrible. Nobody was in the building, can only check in through the phone. It took me almost 2 hours to get into the room. I arrived at 9pm o’clock and finally figured out by myself to enter the room at 11 pm.
