There were dirty socks found left behind by housekeeping in a very open area. No one responded to complaints and I couldn’t leave as it was the only room in the city. Then the next day the shower didn’t work. The hot water screeched coming out and then the shower itself would not stay on. I have asked for a call from the manager as front desk told me best they could do as a 25 percent discount on a future stay. I would never return. I also did not eat breakfast as if housekeeping couldn’t vaccuum a carpet I certainly wouldn’t trust the food safe standards. I will be leaving negative feedback on every platform I can to go along with the rest of the negative reviews id sincerely hoped were wrong. Front desk told me the socks were easy to miss - with a vacuum ?? I would have left that night if there had been anything else in Sudbury at all , but I knew there wasn’t. We arrived around 4:30 p.m. to find that most of the rooms hadn’t been cleaned, and housekeeping was unavailable. Several coworkers had to be moved after discovering blood stains on their sheets. Many of us were so disgusted by the overall lack of cleanliness that we slept in our clothes and hoodies. In my room, the fridge made loud screeching noises all night, making it impossible to get any proper rest. The “breakfast” consisted only of coffee, tea, and toast—no fruit, no protein options, nothing remotely substantial. By the fifth night, five of our rooms checked out early because we couldn’t tolerate it any longer. We travel extensively across Ontario for work and have never encountered a hotel in such poor, run-down conditions. Avoid this place at all costs. I honestly can’t imagine a homeless shelter being much worse.Show More
